Indonesia) | Plastik termasuk kedalam bahan polimer sintesis yang banyak digunakan sebagai bungkus makanan, namun dalam plastik dapat terkandung bahan yang bersifat radikal bebas seperti phthalate dan bisphenol-A (BPA). Senyawa radikal bebas dalam tubuh dapat dihambat dengan antioksidan. Antioksidan dapat diperoleh dari buah-buahan dan sayur-sayuran yang dikonsumsi. Pengaruh antioksidan terhadap radikal bebas dapat dilihat melalui pengamatan diferensial leukosit. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan penelitian dengan berbagai antioksidan alami dalam menghambat radikal bebas pada plastik melalui diferensial leukosit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh berbagai antioksidan alami dalam menghambat radikal bebas pada mencit jantan dilihat dari peningkatan diferensial leukosit dan mendapatkan antioksidan alami terbaik dalam menghambat radikal bebas pada mencit jantan dilihat dari peningkatan diferensial leukosit. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental dengan Racangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri atas 6 perlakuan dan 5 kali ulangan selama 28 hari yakni P0 sebagai kontrol positif (0,5 ml aquades), P1 sebagai kontrol negatif (0,25 ml air rebusan plastik+0,25 ml aquades), P2 0,25 ml air rebusan plastik+ 0,25 ml jus wortel, P3 0,25 ml air rebusan plastik+0,25 ml jus jeruk, P4 0,25 ml air rebusan plastik+0,25 ml jus ubi jalar ungu, dan P5 0,25 ml air rebusan plastik+0,25 ml jus tauge. Variabel terikat dalam penelitian ini berupa jumlah leukosit dan variabel bebas yaitu antioksidan alami. Parameter utama yang diamati berupa presentase limfosit, monosit, neutrofil, dan eosinofil. Data dianalisis menggunakan sidik ragam ANOVA dengan tingkat kesalahan 5% dan jika signifikan akan diuji lanjut dengan uji tukey. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa antioksidan alami berpengaruh nyata sebesar 48.00±6.08% pada jenis leukosit limfosit dan neutrofil sebesar 43.33±1.15% dalam mempertahankan kondisi normal. Antioksidan yang terbaik dalam menghambat radikal bebas yakni antioksidan yang terkandung dalam jus tauge. |

Inggris) | Plastics are included as synthetic polymer materials which are widely used as food wrappers, but plastics can contain materials that are free radicals such as phthalates and bisphenol-A (BPA). Free radical compounds in the body can be inhibited by antioxidants. Antioxidants can be obtained from fruits and vegetables that are consumed. The effect of antioxidants on free radicals can be seen by observing the differential leukocytes. Therefore it is necessary to research various natural antioxidants in inhibiting free radicals in plastics through differential leukocytes. This study aims to look at the free radicals inhibiting antioxidants in mice that come from the differential increase in leukocytes and get the best natural antioxidants in inhibiting free radicals in the increase of differential increases in leukocytes. The research used an experimental method with Completely Randomized Mixture (CRD) which consisted of 6 treatments and 5 replications for 28 days, namely P0 as a positive control (0.5 ml distilled water), P1 as a negative control (0.25 ml plastic + boiled water). ) 0.25 ml distilled water), P2 0.25 ml plastic boiled water + 0.25 ml carrot juice, P3 0.25 ml plastic boiled water + 0.25 ml orange juice, P4 0.25 ml plastic boiled water + 0, 25 ml purple sweet potato juice, and P5 0.25 ml plastic boiled water + 0.25 ml bean sprouts juice. The dependent variable in this study is the number of leukocytes and the independent variable is natural antioxidants. The main parameters observed were the presentation of lymphocytes, monocytes, neutrophils, and eosinophils. Data were analyzed using ANOVA with an error rate of 5% and if significant, it will be further tested with the Tukey test. The results showed that natural evidence had an effect of 48.00 ± 6.08% on the types of leukocytes, lymphocytes, and neutrophils of 43.33 ± 1.15% in maintaining normal conditions. The best antioxidants in inhibiting free radicals are the antioxidants in bean sprout juice. |
