| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian dilaksanakan mulai tanggal 28 September 2020 sampai dengan 02 Oktober 2020 di bertempat di Peternakan Ayam Kedu Desa Kedu Kecamatan Kedu Kabupaten Temanggung. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui adakah perbedaan tebal kerabang dan volume telur pada berbagai Ayam Kedu. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Survey dan metode penetapan sampel menggunakan metode Purposive Random Sampling. Variabel yang diamati yaitu tebal kerabang dan volume telur. Rancangan penelitian menggunakan RAL (Rancangan Acak Lengkap) dengan lima macam perlakuan yang berbeda dan empat kali ulangan. Data yang diperoleh kemudian ditabulasikan, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan General Linear Model (GLM) . Hasil penelitian diperoleh rataan Tebal kerabang berbagai jenis Ayam Kedu sebesar 0,405 ± 0,03 mm dengan kisaran tebal kerabang sebesar 0,340 sampai 0,483 mm serta hasil rataan volume telur berbagai jenis Ayam Kedu sebesar 34 ± 3,64 mm dengan kisaran volume telur sebesar 25 sampai 39 mm. Hasil uji Anava menunjukkan bahwa jenis ayam kedu berpengaruh tidak nyata sterhadap Tebal kerabang dan volume telur. Kesimpulan bahwa berbagai jenis Ayam Kedu mempunyai Tebal kerabang dan volume telur yang relatif sama. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | The research was conducted from 28 September 2020 to 02 October 2020 at Kedu Chicken Farm, Kedu Village, Kedu District, Temanggung Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there are differences in shell thickness and egg volume in various Kedu chickens. The research was conducted using the survey method and the method of determining the sample using the purposive random sampling method. The variables observed were shell thickness and egg volume. The research design used RAL (completely randomized design) with five different treatments and four replications. The data obtained were then tabulated, then analyzed using the General Linear Model (GLM). The results showed that the average shell thickness of various types of Kedu Chickens was 0.405 ± 0.03 mm with a range of shell thickness of 0.340 to 0.483 mm and the average egg volume of various types of Kedu chickens was 34 ± 3.64 mm with a range of egg volumes of 25 to 39. mm. Anava test results showed that the type of chicken kedu had no significant effect on shell thickness and egg volume. The conclusion is that various types of Kedu Chicken have relatively the same shell thickness and egg volume. |
