Indonesia) | ABSTRAK Sejak revolusi hijau penggunaan pupuk urea di sektor pertanian dan perkebunan tidak terkendali karena untuk mendapatkan hasil tanaman yang setinggi-tingginya tanpa memperhatikan dampak atau resiko yang akan terjadi. Penggunaan pupuk urea secara terus menerus dan dalam jumlah yang besar akan berdampak pada efek gas rumah kaca dan mencemari air tanah. Dampak tersebut dapat dikurangi dan diperbaiki dengan perakitan pupuk NPK-SR (slow release) yang sudah di uji dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengkaji pengaruh komposisi pupuk NPK-SR dan berbagai takaran jerami serta interaksinya terhadap sifat kimia air, penguapan gas amoniak (NH3), dan pertumbuhan padi sawah (2) mengetahui pengaruh komposisi pupuk NPK-SR dan berbagai takaran jerami yang mempunyai nilai penguapan gas amoniak (NH3) tertinggi secara periodik pada padi sawah. Penelitian dilaksanakan mulai bulan Desember 2019 - September 2020 di Green House dan Laboratorium Ilmu Tanah, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Purwokerto, Banyumas. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri atas 2 faktor, yaitu takaran jerami (3 aras): J0 (tanpa jerami), J1 (takaran jerami setara 20 ton/ha) dan J2 (takaran jerami setara 40 ton/ha) dan komposisi pupuk NPK-SR (6 grade): K0 (kontrol), K1 (pupuk NPK-SR grade 15-15-0), K2 (pupuk NPK-SR grade 15-15-5), K3 (pupuk NPK-SR grade 15-15-10), K4 (pupuk NPK-SR grade 15-15-15) dan K5 (pupuk NPK-SR grade 15-20). Jumlah perlakuan adalah 3 x 6 atau 18 kombinasi perlakuan, diulang 3 kali sehingga diperoleh 54 unit percobaan. Variabel yang diamati yaitu sifat kimia air: pH air dan daya hantar listrik air. Sifat kimia tanah: potensial redoks tanah. Pertumbuhan tanaman: tinggi tanaman dan jumlah anakan. Iklim: meliputi suhu dan kelembaban lingkungan penelitian, serta penguapan gas amoniak (NH3) secara periodik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berbagai takaran jerami berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap pH, Electrical Conductivity, Total Dissolved Solid (EC dan TDS) air, Potensial redoks tanah, tinggi tanaman dan jumlah anakan. Aplikasi komposisi pupuk NPK-SR berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap Electrical Conductivity, Total Dissolved Solid air dan tinggi tanaman, serta berpengaruh nyata terhadap penguapan gas amoniak (NH3) secara periodik pada 2 dan 7 Hari Setelah Tanam (HST), serta tidak terdapat interaksi antara komposisi pupuk NPK-SR dengan berbagai takaran jerami terhadap semua variabel pengamatan. Komposisi pupuk NPK-SR grade 15-15-10 yang diaplikasikan tanpa pemberian jerami berpengaruh terhadap kenaikan penguapan gas amoniak (NH3) mencapai 0,56 mg N/cm2 pada periodik 2 HST dan 0,21 mg N/cm2 pada periodik 7 HST. Aplikasi komposisi pupuk NPK-SR grade 15-15-5 dan takaran jerami setara 40 ton/ha berpengaruh terhadap kenaikan penguapan gas amoniak mencapai 0,17 mg N/cm2 pada periodik 14 HST, serta pupuk NPK-SR grade 15-15-15 tanpa pemberian jerami berpengaruh terhadap menaikkan penguapan gas amoniak mencapai 0,05 mg N/cm2 pada periodik 21 HST. Inggris) | ABSTRACK Since the green revolution, the use of urea in the agricultural and plantation sectors has been uncontrolled because it is to get the highest crop yield without paying attention to the impact or risk that will occur. The use of urea continuously and in large quantities will have an impact on the effect of greenhouse gases and pollute groundwater. This impact can be improved by using NPK-SR (slow release) fertilizer. This study aims to 1) examine the effect of NPK-SR fertilizer composition and straw dose and its interaction on water chemistry, ammonia gas volatilitation (NH3), and rice growth (2) determine the composition of NPK-SR fertilizer and the best straw dose for evaporation. ammonia gas (NH3) periodically in lowland rice. This research was conducted for 9 months from December 2019 - September 2020 at the Green House and Soil Science Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Jenderal Soedirman University, Purwokerto, Banyumas. The research used a completely randomized design (CRD) which consisted of 2 factors, namely the straw (3 levels): J0 (without straw), J1 (20 tons / ha equivalent straw) and J2 (40 tons / ha equivalent straw) and composition of NPK-SR fertilizer (level 6): K0 (control), K1 (NPK-SR fertilizer content 15-15-0), K2 (NPK-SR fertilizer content 15-15-5), K3 (NPK-SR fertilizer content 15-15-10), K4 (NPK-SR fertilizer content 15-15-15) and K5 (NPK-SR fertilizer content 15-20). The number of treatments was 3 x 6 or 18 treatment combinations, repeated 3 times in order to obtain 54 experimental units. The variables observed included water chemical properties such: pH and Electrical Conductivity (Electrical Conductivity and Total Dissolved Solid) of water. Soil chemical properties: soil redox potential. Plant growth: plant height and number of tillers. Climate: temperature and research environment, as well as periodic volatilitazion of ammonia gas (NH3). The results showed that the measure of straw has a very significant effect on pH, EC, TDS of water, soil redox potential, plant height, and number of tillers. the application of the NPK-SR fertilizer composition had a very significant effect on EC, TDS of water, and plant height, then has a significant effect on amoniak gas volatilization of 2 and 7 Days After Planting (DAP). The interaction of NPK-SR fertilizer composition and straw dosage treatments did not affect all of the observed variables. The composition of the NPK-SR fertilizer grade 15-15-10 which was applied without giving straw had an effect on the increase in ammonia gas (NH3) volatilitation as 0,56 mg N/cm2 at 2 DAP period and 0,21 mg N/cm2 at 7 DAP period. Application of NPK-SR fertilizer composition grade 15-15-5 and straw dose equivalent to 40 tonnes/ha had an effect on the increase in ammonia gas volatilitazion as 0,17 mg N/cm2 at 14 DAP periodic, as well as NPK-SR fertilizer grade 15-15-15 without giving straw had an effect on the increasein ammonia gas volatilitazion as 0,05 mg N/cm2 at 21 DAP periodic.
