| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Lada (Piper nigrum L.) merupakan salah satu komoditi ekspor di subsektor perkebunan yang dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi devisa Indonesia. Berdasarkan hal tersebut perlu dilakukan peningkatan kualitas dan kuantitas produksi lada nasional, Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui macam dan jenis zat pengatur tumbuh terhadap pertumbuhan stek lada. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada 22 Juni sampai 4 September 2020 di Screenhouse Exfarm Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Purwokerto dan Laboratorium Agronomi dan Hortikultura Fakultas Pertanian Jenderal Soedirman. Penelitian berupa percobaan pot faktorial 3x3 dengan menggunakan Rangcangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap (RAKL) yang diulang 3 kali. Faktor pertama adalah macam stek yaitu stek pucuk, stek tengah, dan stek pangkal. Faktor kedua adalah jenis zat pengatur tumbuh yaitu kontrol (tanpa ZPT), Root-up (100 ppm), dan air kelapa (25%). Variabel yang diamati yaitu persentase stek hidup, pertumbuhan tinggi tanaman, panjang tunas, pertumbuhan jumlah daun, jumlah tunas, luas daun, jumlah akar, panjang akar total, bobot akar segar, bobot akar kering, bobot tanaman segar, bobot tanaman kering, dan volume akar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) macam stek pangkal memberikan pertumbuhan akar stek lada terbaik, stek pucuk pada tinggi tanaman, tengah dan pangkal pada pertumbuhan luas daun dan bobot tanaman kering. (2) Jenis zat pengatur tumbuh Root-up dengan konsentrasi 100 ppm memberikan hasil terbaik terhadap pertumbuhan stek lada. | Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Pepper (Piper nigrum L.) is one of the export commodities in the plantation sub-sector that can contribute to Indonesia's foreign exchange. Based on this, it is necessary to improve the quality and quantity of national pepper production. This study aims to: (1) determine which types of cuttings are best for the growth of pepper cuttings. (2) knowing the type of ZPT that was the best for the growth of pepper cuttings, (3) knowing the best combination between the types and types of growth regulators for pepper cuttings. This research was conducted from 22 June to 4 September 2020 at the Exfarm Screenhouse, Faculty of Agriculture, Jenderal Soedirman University, Purwokerto and the Laboratory of Agronomy and Horticulture, Faculty of Agriculture, Jenderal Soedirman. The research design used was a 3x3 factorial design using a Complete Randomized Block Design (RAKL) repeated three times on pepper cuttings with two factors. The first factor is the type of cuttings consisting of shoot cuttings, middle cuttings and base cuttings. The second factor is the type of growth regulator which consists of control (without ZPT), root-up (100 ppm), and coconut water (25%). The variables observed were the percentage of live cuttings, plant height, shoot length, number of leaves, number of shoots, leaf area, number of roots, length total root weight, fresh root weight, dry root weight, fresh plant weight, dry plant weight, and root volume. The results showed that (1) the base of cuttings gave the best root growth of pepper cuttings, shoot cuttings at plant height, middle and base of leaf area growth and dry weight. (2) Root-up growth regulators with a concentration of 100 ppm gave the best results on pepper cuttings' growth. (3) The growth regulators of Root-up with a concentration of 100 ppm and base cuttings gave the best percentage of life for pepper cuttings. |
