| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Gulma adalah vegetasi yang tumbuh pada lahan tanaman budidaya dan kehadirannya dapat merugikan tanaman lain yang ada di dekat atau di sekitarnya. Pengendalian alternatif yang ramah lingkungan perlu dicari. Pengendalian gulma secara hayati dipandang lebih aman dan menguntungkan menurut segi lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) Mengetahui virulensi jamur patogen terhadap gulma berdaun sempit; 2) Mengetahui pengaruh jamur patogen terhadap gulma berdaun sempit di lapangan terbatas; 3) Mengetahui jenis gulma yang rentan terhadap tiga jenis jamur patogen. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Perlindungan Tanaman dan Experimental Farm Fakultas Pertanain Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. Penelitian dilaksanakan mulai Agustus sampai dengan November 2020. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah rancangan petak terbagi. Petak utama terdiri atas jamur patogen Chaetomium sp., Fusarium oxysporum, dan Curvularia sp. serta anak petak terdiri atas gulma Cynodon dactylon, Cyperus rotundus, Eleusin indica, Echinochola crus-galli, dan Cyperus bervifolus. Variabel yang diamati adalah gejala dan tanda penyakit, masa inkubasi, intensitas penyakit, laju infeksi, Area Under Disease Progres Curve (AUDPC), bobot segar tanaman, bobot kering tanaman, tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, dan pengamatan perkecambahan biji gulma. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan jamur patogen virulen terhadap gulma berdaun sempit terutama jamur Chaetomium sp. sebesar 67,16%, yang ditunjukkan dengan masa inkubasi tercepat pada C. rotundus sebesar 68,61%. Perkecambahan biji rumput grinting terendah oleh jamur Chaetomium sp. sebesar 75% dan Curvularia sp pada biji C. rotundus sebesar 0,00%. Jamur Chaetomium sp. virulen terhadap gulma berdaun sempit di lapangan terbatas, ditunjukan oleh intensitas serangan C. rotundus sebesar 78,65%, laju infeksi jamur Chaetomium sp pada C. dactylon sebesar 95,45%, nilai AUDPC pada C. rotundus sebesar 81,99%, serta penurunan bobot segar akar C. kyllingia sebesar 72,57%, bobot segar tajuk C. dactylon sebesar 64,99%, bobot kering akar E. indica sebesar 68,57%, bobot kering tajuk C. dactylon sebesar 73,46%, tinggi C. dactylon sebesar 92,15%, dan jumlah daun C. dactylon sebesar 82,47%. Jenis gulma yang paling rentan terhadap aplikasi jamur patogen Chaetomium sp. di lapangan terbatas yaitu C. rotundus ditunjukan dengan intensitas penyakit sebesar 78,65%. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Weeds are vegetation grows on cultivated plant land and their presence can harm other plants near or around the weeds. Environmental friendly alternative controls need to be developed. Biological weed control is considered safer and environmentally benefit. This study aimed to 1) determine the virulence of pathogenic fungi against narrow leaf weeds; 2) know the effect of thec fungi on the weeds in limited fields; and 3) know the types of susceptible weeds to three pathogenic fungi. The study was conducted at the Plant Protection Laboratory and the Experimental Farm, Agriculture Faculty of Jenderal Soedirman University from August to November 2020. Split plot design was used with main plot consisted of the pathogenic fungi (Chaetomium sp., Fusarium oxysporum, and Curvularia sp.) and subplots consisted of the weeds (Cynodon dactylon, Cyperus rotundus, Eleusin indica, Echinochola crus-galli, and Cyperus Kyllingia). Variables observed were symptoms and signs of disease, incubation period, disease intensity, infection rate, Area Under the Disease Progress Curve (AUDPC), weeds fresh weight, weeds dry weight, weed height, number of leaves, and percentage of weed seed germination. The results of this study indicated that the virulent pathogenic fungi against narrow leaf weeds, especially Chaetomium sp. as 67.16% indicated by the fastest incubation period in C. rotundus as 68.61%. The lowest germination for C. dactylon was performed by Chaetomium sp. as 75%, and by Curvularia sp. for C. rotundus as 0,00%. Chaetomium sp. was virulent fungus against narrow leaf weeds in limited fields, indicated by the disease intensity in C. rotundus as 78.65%, infection rate in C. dactylon as 95.45%, AUDPC value in C. rotundus as 81.99%, decrease root fresh weight in C. kyllingia as 72.57%, decrease canopy fresh weight in C. dactylon as 64.99%, reduce root dry weight in E. indica as 68.57%, canopy dry weight in C. dactylon as 73.46%, high growth in C. dactylon as 92.15%, and number of C. dactylon leaves as 82.47%. The most susceptible weed towards application of Chaetomium sp. in a limited field was C. rotundus indicated by the intensity of the disease as 78.65%. |
