| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Latar Belakang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh lama dan suhu penyimpanan serta interaksi keduanya terhadap motilitas, viabilitas dan abnormalitas spermatozoa ayam pelung dengan pengencer kuning telur susu skim. Metodologi. Materi penelitian adalah semen segar yang dikoleksi 2 hari sekali dari 10 ekor ayam pelung umur 1-1,5 tahun. Penelitian menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok (RAK) dengan pola faktorial 5 x 2. Lama penyimpanan sebagai faktor pertama dan suhu penyimpanan sebagai faktor kedua. Faktor pertama yaitu p1 (0 menit), p2 (30 menit), p3 (60 menit), p4 (90 menit) dan p5 (120 menit), sedangkan faktor kedua yaitu s1 (suhu ruang) dan s2 (suhu dingin). Setiap perlakuan diulang tiga kali dan variabel yang diamati adalah motilitas, viabilitas dan abnormalitas. Hasil analisis variansi terhadap motilitas dan viabilitas menunjukkan bahwa kelompok atau periode pengoleksian, Interaksi antara lama penyimpanan dengan suhu penyimpanan, perlakuan lama penyimpanan dan perlakuan suhu penyimpanan berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap motilitas dan viabilitas. Hasil. Hasil analisis variansi menunjukkan bahwa kelompok atau periode pengoleksian berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap abnormalitas sedangkan interaksi antara lama penyimpanan dengan suhu penyimpanan dan suhu penyimpanan berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap abnormalitas, sedangkan lama penyimpanan berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap abnormalitas. Hasil uji BNJ terhadap motilitas dan viabilitas menunjukkan bahwa interaksi lama dan suhu penyimpanan sebagian besar perbandingan antar perlakuan menunjukkan perbedaan sangat nyata (P<0,01), sedangkan hasil uji BNJ terhadap abnormalitas menunjukkan bahwa antar perlakuan lama penyimpanan sebagian besar menunjukkan perbedaan sangat nyata (P<0,01). Simpulan. Kesimpulan yaitu terdapat keterkaitan terhadap motilitas, viabilitas dan tidak terdapat keterkaitan terhadap abnormalitas antara lama penyimpanan pada suhu yang berbeda. Perlakuan lama penyimpanan 0 menit pada suhu dingin menghasilkan motilitas dan viabilitas yang terbaik. Perlakuan lama penyimpanan 0, 30, 60 menit menghasilkan abnormalitas spermatozoa yang terbaik. Perlakuan penyimpanan pada suhu ruang dan dingin tidak menghasilkan perbedaan abnormalitas spermatozoa. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Background. The purpose of this research was to know the influence of time and storage temperature and their interaction on motility, viability and abnormality of Pelung Rooster Spermatozoa diluted in skim milk egg yolk diluent. Methodology. The research material was fresh semen which collected every 2 days from 10 pelung roosters aged 1-1,5 years. The study used a randomized complete block design (RCBD) with a 5 x 2 factorial pattern. In which storage time (p) was considered as the first factor and storage temperature (s) as the second factor. The first factor is consisted of p1 (0 minutes), p2 (30 minutes), p3 (60 minutes), p4 (90 minutes) and p5 (120 minutes), while the second factor consisted of s1 (room temperature) and s2 (cold temperature). Each of the treatment was replicated three times, and the observed variables were motility, viability and abnormality. The results of the analysis of variance on motility and viability showed that the group or collecting period, interaction between storage time with storage temperature, storage time and storage temperature had a very significant effect (P<0.01) on motility and viability. Results. The results of the analysis of variance showed that the group or collecting period had a very significant effect (P<0.01) on abnormality, while interaction between storage time with storage temperature and storage temperature had no significant effect (P>0.05) on abnormality, while the storage time had a very significant effect (P<0.01) on abnormality. The results of the HSD test on motility and viability showed that the interaction between time and storage temperature, most of the comparisons between treatments, showed very significant differences (P<0.01), while the results of the HSD test for abnormality showed that between treatments, most of the storage time showed very significant differences (P<0.01). Conclusion. It can be concluded that there are a relation with motility, viability and there is no relation to abnormality between storage time at different temperatures. Treatment of storage time of 0 minutes in cold temperatures produce the best motility and viability. Treatment of storage time of 0, 30, 60 minutes resulted in the lowest spermatozoa abnormality. Storage treatment at room temperature and cold did not results in differences in spermatozoa abnormality. |
