Indonesia) | Makro-Bioeroders adalah biota-biota laut yang aktivitas, menembus atau menerobos, mengikis dan melemahkan kerangka kalkareus yang terbentuk oleh organisme pembentuk terumbu. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui keanekaragaman terumbu karang, tutupan karang, kepadatan makro-bioerders, dan hubungan antara kepadatan bioeroder dan keanekaragaman terumbu karang di Pulau Harapan, Kepulauan Seribu. Pengambilan data tutupan terumbu karang dan keanekaragaman terumbu karang menggunakan metode Line Intercept Transect (LIT), data yang diambil dicatat dan difoto dan untuk pengambilan data kepadatan makro-bioeroders menggunakan metode Belt Transect dikombinasikan dengan metode Line Intercept Transect (LIT), data yang diambil difoto dan dihitung kepadatannya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai indeks keanekaragaman terumbu karang sebesar 2,84 dan terdapat 7 family, 15 genus dan 23 terumbu karang ditemukan. Persentase tutupan karang keras berkisar antara 39,89 – 48,19% dengan substrat berupa pasir dan batuan dan kepadatan makro-bioeroders berkisar antara 15 – 30 ind/80m2 dengan kepadatan tertinggi diperoleh Diadema setosum dan kepadatan terendah diperoleh Centrostephanus rodgersii . Hubungan antara kepadatan makro-bioerders dengan keanekaragaman terumbu karang di Pulau Harapan berkorelasi positif dengan nilai R2 sebesar 76,92%. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Macro-bioeroders is any organism that, through its assorted activities, erodes and weakens the calcareous skeletons of reef-building species. This study aimed to determine the diversity of coral reef, the coral cover, abundance of Macro-bioeroders and the correlation between the diversity of coral reef and Macro-bioeroders abundance in Harapan Island, Kepulauan Seribu. The data were collected using the Line Intercept Transect for the coral cover and the diversity of coral reefs, while the data for the abundance of Macro-bioeroders were collected by using the Line Intercept Transect method combined with the method Belt Transect. The results showed that the index value of diversity coral reef was 2,84 and there were 7 families, 15 genera and 23 species found on this island. The percentage of hard coral cover ranged between 39,89 – 48,19% with sand and rocks substrata, the abundance of Macro-bioeroders ranges between 15 - 30 ind/80 m2 with the highest abundance obtained by Diadema setosum, and lowest abundance obtained by Centrostephanus rodgersii. The correlation between the abundance of Macro-bioeroders and the diversity of coral reef in Harapan Island is positively correlated, but not significant. |
