| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Pantura. Penelitian berjudul kinetika kadar air dan persentase rendemen kompos berbahan baku feses sapi potong yang diperkaya Azolla sp dilaksanakan pada tanggal 3 Agustus sampai dengan 28 Agustus di UD Sapi Amanah Farm (Beef and sheep fattening) desa Karang Gintung, kecamatan Sumbang, Kabupaten Banyumas, dan Laboratorium Ilmu Bahan Makanan Ternak Fakultas Peternakan Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Purwokerto. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengkaji kinetika kadar air selama pengkomposan, mengetahui kadar air dalam kompos dan persentase rendemen kompos feses sapi potong yang diperkaya Azolla sp. Perlakuan yang diberikan dalam penelitian ini yaitu P0 (kontrol), dan P1 dengan menambakan Azolla sp pada perlakuan kontrol (P0) sebanyak 10 %. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu experimental. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan Repeated Measure Analysis of Variance (RMA) untuk kadar air dan data untuk mengetahui penambahan azolla sp terhadap rendemen kompos dianalisis dengan menggunakan Uji t . Peubah yang diukur adalah kinetika kadar air dan persentase rendemen kompos. Hasil analisis pengaruh perlakuan terhadap kinetika kadar air menunjukan dimana kinetika kadar air pada saat selesai pengomposan masih di atas setandar SNI yaitu P0 sebesar 55,739± dan P1 sebesar 56,554±. Hasil rataan rendemen pada P0 sebesar 60,7617 ± 5,422 dan P1 sebesar 59,7301 ± 4,701 dalam bentuk persen rendemen segar. Untuk hasil dari rendemen berdasarkan bahan kering sendiri yaitu PO 88,1146 ± 10508 dan P1 80,2798 ± 10,276. Kata kunci : kadar air, Rendemen, Azolla sp, kompos, Sapi potong |

Inggris) | The research entitled kinetics of water content and percentage of compost yield made from beef cattle feces enriched with Azolla sp was carried out on August 3 to August 28 at UD Sapi Amanah Farm (Beef and sheep fattening), Karang Gintung village,Sumbang sub-district, Banyumas district, and Laboratory of Animal Foodstuff Science, Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Jenderal Soedirman University, Purwokerto. The purpose of this study was to assess the kinetics of water content during composting, determine the moisture content in the compost and the yield were beef cattle feces compost enriched with Azolla sp. The treatments given in this study were P0 (control), and P1 addedAzolla sp at control (P0) by 10%. The method used in this research was experimental. Data were analyzed by Repeated Measure Analysis of Variance (RMA) for moisture content and data to determine the addition of Azolla sp to compost yield were analyzed by t Test. The variables measured were kinetics of water content and percentage of compost yield. The result showed water the kinetics was the water level at the end of composting was still above the SNI standard, namely P0 was 55.739 ± and P1 was 56.554 ± The yield mean at P0 was 60.7617 ± 5.422 and P1 was 59.7301 ± 4.701 in the form of fresh yield percent.
