| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Perkembangan Teknologi di era digital ini sangat cepat. Teknologi yang berkembang muncul dari berbagai bidang, termasuk telekomunikasi. Dalam bidang telekomunikasi, meningkatnya kebutuhan manusia akan pertukaran data dan informasi menuntut pula perkembangan internet semakin pesat, khususnya pada penggunaan internet. Berawal dari kebutuhan telepon genggam untuk sekedar dapat berkomunikasi jarak jauh, berubah menjadi kebutuhan akan teknologi komunikasi multimedia yang memiliki kehandalan, kecepatan, serta performansi akses data yang baik. Penelitian bertujuan untuk menginformasikan hasil dari pengujian kinerja aplikasi Imo dengan parameter Quality of Service diantaranya adalah jitter, packet loss, delay, dan throughput. Pengambilan data dengan menggunakan aplikasi Wireshark akan dianalisis kualitas layanannya dengan ketentuan yang telah ditetapkan oleh TIPHON sebagai standar telekomunikasi. Dari pengujian yang telah dilakukan, didapatkan hasil dengan kategori memuaskan berdasarkan standar dari TIPHON. Jaringan Wi-Fi mendapatkan nilai indeks rata-rata 3.485 dari skala 4, sedangkan jaringan seluler mendapatkan nilai indeks rata-rata 3.49 dari skala 4. Terdapat perbedaan hasil parameter QoS pada jaringan yang sama dari layanan voice call aplikasi Imo. Perbedaan ini disebabkan oleh faktor internal dan faktor eksternal. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | The development of technology in the digital age is very fast. Developing technology emerged from various fields, including telecommunications. In the field of telecommunications, the increasing human need for exchange of data and information also demands the rapid development of the internet, especially in the use of the internet. Starting from the need for mobile phones to simply be able to communicate long distance, turned into the need for multimedia communication technology that has reliability, speed, and good data access performance. The research aims to the results of the Imo application performance testing with Quality of Service parameters including jitter, packet loss, delay, and throughput. Data retrieval using the Wireshark application will be analyzed the quality of its services with the provisions set by TIPHON as telecommunications standards. Keywords : Imo, Voice Over IP, Quality of Service, Wi-Fi, Cellular Operators. From the tests that have been done, the results obtained are categorized as satisfactory based on the standards from TIPHON. Wi-Fi networks get an average index value of 3.485 from a scale of 4, while cellular networks get an average index value of 3.49 from a scale of 4. There are differences in the results of QoS parameters on the same network from the voice call service of the Imo application. This difference is caused by internal factors and external factors. |
