| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Leukosit dalam jumlah sedikit selalu ditemukan dalam setiap ejakulat. Peningkatan jumlah leukosit dalam cairan semen lebih dari 1 juta leukosit permililiter disebut leukositospermia. Pengaruh jumlah leukosit pada cairan semen dengan infertilitas pria terkait dengan kualitas sperma masih menjadi kontroversi, meskipun insidensinya tinggi pada kasus-kasus infertilitas. Penelitian hubungan jumlah leukosit dengan hasil analisis sperma pada pasien infertilitas di Purwokerto belum pernah dilakukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan jumlah leukosit pada cairan semen dengan hasil analisis sperma pada pasien infertilitas di Purwokerto. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional analitik dengan desain cross sectional yang dilakukan di RSIA Bunda Arif Purwokerto. Subjek penelitian merupakan data sekunder yang berjumlah 84 orang dengan teknik total sampling. Data dieroleh dari periode bulan Januari 2020 – Agustus 2020. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji korelasi Spearman. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat hubungan signifikan dengan korelasi positif antara hubungan jumlah leukosit pada cairan semen dengan hasil analisis sperma, yaitu konsentrasi, motilitas, dan morfologi spermatozoa (p<0,05). Analisis kekuatan korelasi menghasilkan korelasi kuat untuk konsentrasi spermatozoa (r=0,628) dan morfologi spermatozoa (r=0,580) serta korelasi cukup kuat untuk motilitas spermatozoa (r=0,401). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan signifikan antara jumlah leukosit pada cairan semen dengan hasil analisis sperma pada pasien infertilitas di Purwokerto. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Small number of leukocytes is always found in every ejaculate. An increase of leukocyte count in semen over 1 million cells are called leukocytospermia. The influence of leukocyte count in semen on male infertility related to sperm quality is still a matter of controversy, although the incidence is high in infertility cases. Research on the association between leukocyte count and sperm analysis in infertility patients in Purwokerto has never been conducted before. The aim of this study is to determine the association between leukocytes count in semen and sperm analysis in infertility patients in Purwokerto. Analytical observational study with cross-sectional design was conducted at RSIA Bunda Arif Purwokerto. The semen analysis records of 84 male partners of infertile couples period from January 2020 to Agustus 2020 were obtained by total sampling method. Data were analyzed using the Spearman correlation test. There is a significant association with a positive correlation between leukocyte count in semen and sperm analysis, namely the concentration, motility, and morphology of spermatozoa (p <0.05). Analysis of the strength of correlation results in a strong correlation for the concentration of spermatozoa (r=0.628), morphology of spermatozoa (r=0.580), and sufficient strong correlation for sperm motility (r=0.401). It is cloncluded that leukocyte count in semen has significant association with sperm quality on infertility patients in Purwokerto. |
