| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Terapi antipsikotik pada pasien skizofrenia terdiri dari golongan antipsikotik tipkal dan atipikal. Penggunaan antipsikotik menyebabkan efek samping ekstrapiramidal (parkinson, akathisia, tardive dyskinesia dan dystonia). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan resiko efek samping ekstrapiramidal pada penggunaan antipsikotik atipikal dibandingkan tipikal pada pengobatan skizofrenia. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode Literature review. Pencarian literatur menggunakan dua search engine Pubmed dan Cochrane dengan kata kunci “schizophrenia and antipsychotic typical or atypical and extrapyramidal”. Literatur yang digunakan adalah RCT (Randomized Controlled Trial) dan uji klinik fase IV dengan filter humans, English dan free full text dan dipublikasikan tahun 2010-2020. Proses pencarian artikel dilakukan tanggal 1-15 Juli 2020. Dari total pencarian 40 artikel yang didapat, hanya 4 artikel yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Dua artikel uji klinik fase IV menunjukkan kejadian efek samping ekstrapiramidal lebih banyak muncul pada penggunaan antipsikotik tipikal dibandingkan atipikal, dua artikel RCT lainnya menunjukkan tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan. Perlu dilakukan lebih banyak penelitian RCT terkait obat antipsikotik terhadap kejadian efek samping ekstrapiramidal, sehingga bisa memberikan gambaran yang lebih baik untuk studi review selanjutnya. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Antipsychotic therapy in schizophrenia patients consists of typical and atypical antipsychotic groups. The use of the antipsychotics causes extrapyramidal side effects (parkinsonism, akathisia, tardive dyskinesia, dystonia). This study aimed to compare the risk of extrapyramidal side effects on the use of atypical compared to typical antipsychotics in the schizophrenia treatment. This study was conducted using the Literature review method. The literature exploration used two search engines, namely Pubmed and Cochrane with keywords “schizophrenia and antipsychotic typical or atypical and extrapyramidal”. The literature used the RCT (Randomized Controlled Trial) and phase IV clinical trials with filters such as humans, English, free full text, and published in the year of 2010-2020. The articles exploration carried out from July the 1 st - 15th 2020. From a total search of 40 articles, there were only 4 articles that met the inclusion criteria. Two articles from phase IV clinical trials showed that cases of extrapyramidal side effects occurred more frequently with the use of typical than atypical antipsychotics, the other two RCT articles showed no significant difference. There needs to be more RCT studies related to antipsychotic drugs on the case of extrapyramidal side effects, so that they can provide a better picture for future review studies. |
