| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini berjudul “Pengaruh Sosialisasi Politik Kiai Terhadap Perilaku Pemilih Pemula Santri dalam Pemilihan Presiden (Pilpres) di Kecamatan Cibeureum Kota Tasikmalaya Tahun 2019”. Penelitian ini di latar belakangi oleh banyaknya santri yang berada di Tasikmalaya khususnya di Kecamatan Cibeureum dengan total santri sebanyak 2.254 orang, di mana pada saat berlangsungnya pemilu perilaku pemilih pemula santri sangat dibutuhkan yaitu dengan melalui sosialisasi politik yang diberikan oleh kiai di pesantren. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui adakah pengaruh sosialisasi politik kiai terhadap perilaku pemilih pemula santri di Kecamatan Cibeureum. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan paradigm positivism. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah simple random sampling kemudian menggunakan teknik proportional random sampling. Teknik pengambilan data di dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara memberikan kuesioner kepada responden yang sudah termasuk ke dalam kategori pemilih pemulanmiku. Teknis analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan statistical package for the social science (SPSS) dengan metode uji validitas menggunakan analisis butir, uji reliabilitas menggunakan teknik cronbach’s alpha. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis kerja atau Hk diterima, artinya ada pengaruh sosialisasi politik kiai terhadap perilaku pemilih pemula santri. Hal ini dilandasi dari hasil uji hipotesis penelitian dengan menggunakan korelasi rank spearman yang menghasilkan nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) antara sosialisasi politik kiai dengan perilaku pemilih pemula santri sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Tetapi kekuatan pengaruh sosialisasi politik kiai terhadap perilaku pemilih pemula santri tergolong sedang, dengan dibuktikannya nilai koefisien korelasi antara sosialisasi politik kiai dengan perilaku pemilih pemula santri sebesar 0,542. Nilai positif dalam koefisien korelasi tersebut menunjukkan adanya hubungan antarvariabel yang searah. Dalam penelitian ini pula besar pengaruh sosialisasi politik kiai terhadap perilaku pemilih pemula santri di Kecamatan Cibeureum pada Pilpres 2019 sebesar 15,9 persen. |

Inggris) | This research entitled "The Effect of Kiai Political Socialization on the Behavior of Beginner Santri Voters in the Presidential Election (Pilpres) in Cibeureum District, Tasikmalaya City in 2019". This research is motivated by the number of students in Tasikmalaya, especially in Cibeureum District, with a total of 2,254 students, where at the time of the election the behavior of student voters is very much needed, namely through political socialization provided by kiai at the pesantren. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is any influence of political socialization of kiai on the behavior of student voters in Cibeureum District. The method used in this research is quantitative research methods with a positivism paradigm. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling and then using proportional random sampling technique. The data collection technique in this study was carried out by giving questionnaires to respondents who were included in the category of novice voters. The data analysis technique used in this study used the statistical package for the social science (SPSS) with the validity test method using item analysis, reliability testing using the Cronbach's alpha technique. The results of this study indicate that the working hypothesis or Hk is accepted, meaning that there is an influence of kiai's political socialization on the behavior of the santri novice voters. This is based on the results of the research hypothesis test using the rank spearman correlation which results in a significance value (2-tailed) between the political socialization of the kiai and the santri novice voter behavior of 0.000 <0.05. However, the strength of the influence of kiai's political socialization on the behavior of santri beginner voters is classified as moderate, with the evidence of the correlation coefficient between the kiai's political socialization and the santri beginner voter behavior of 0.542. The positive value in the correlation coefficient indicates a unidirectional relationship between variables. In this study, the influence of kiai political socialization on the behavior of student voters in Cibeureum District in the 2019 Presidential Election was 15,9 percent. |
