| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Fenobarbital tergolong obat dengan indeks terapi sempit yang memerlukan pemantaun kadar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui kadar fenobarbital dalam darah dengan pendekatan farmakokinetika dan outcome clinic pasien pediatrik dengan epilepsi pada komunitas epilepsi di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan case series melalui wawancara orang tua/ wali pasien. Jumlah pasien monoterapi yang memiliki estimasi Css 15-40 mg/ L sebanyak 66,66%, sedangkan pasien politerapi sebanyak 58,33%. Kelompok pasien yang menggunakan monoterapi sebanyak 100% memiliki outcome clinic yang baik, sedangkan pasien politerapi sebanyak 50%. Kadar fenobarbital pasien pediatrik monoterapi atau politerapi sebagian besar telah sesuai kisaran terapi dan outcome clinic yang dicapai secara keseluruhan tergolong baik. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Phenobarbital is classified as a drug with a narrow therapeutic index that requires monitoring. The aim of this study to know the concentration of phenobarbital in the blood with a pharmacokinetics approach and outcome clinic of pediatric patients with epilepsy in epilepsy communities in Indonesia. This study used descriptive methods with a case series approach to interviewing parents/guardians of patients. The number of monotherapy patiens with a Css estimation 15-40 mg/ L was 66,66%, while polytherapy patients was 58,33%. The group of patients who use monotherapy as much as 100% have a good outcome clinic. While polytherapy patients as many as 50%. Most of the phenobarbital levels of pediatric patients receiving monotherapy or polytherapy are within the therapeutic range and the overall outcome clinic was relatively good |
