Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Judul penelitian ini adalah “Analisis Potensi, Daya Saing, dan Strategi Pengembangan Ekspor Produk Hasil Perikanan Laut di Pelabuhan Cilacap”. Pelabuhan Cilacap merupakan satu-satunya pelabuhan perikanan laut yang terletak di Pesisir Selatan Jawa dan berhadapan langsung dengan lautan Indonesia yang dikenal memiliki potensi sumber daya ikan yang melimpah.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis potensi, daya saing, strategi penguatan daya saing, dan keunggulan daya saing dan komparatif hasil perikanan laut di Pelabuhan Cilacap. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan Location Quotient (LQ), Shift Share dan Revealed Comparative Advantages (RCA). Sedangkan metode analisisnya menggunakan Analisis SWOT dan Critical Success Factors (CSF).
Hasil perhitungan LQ menunjukkan bahwa Pelabuhan Cilacap berpotensi untuk mengekspor hasil perikanan lautnya, yaitu Tuna Kalengan dan Tuna Poch karena masuk kriteria sektor basis. Dan Berdasarkan perhitungan Shift Share, dari perhitungan Provincial Share, kelima komoditas produksi perikanan dan hasil laut di Pelabuhan Cilacap menunjukkan nilai positif, Proportional Share yang bernilai positif adalah Udang Beku, Udang Lobster Beku, Kalengan. Tuna, dan Tuna Poch, serta Differential Shift menunjukkan nilai positif hanya untuk Tuna Kalengan dan Tuna Poch. Hasil RCA juga menunjukkan kelima komoditas hasil perikanan, yaitu Ikan Tuna Beku, Udang Beku, dan Tuna Kaleng memiliki daya saing ekspor yang tinggi dari Hasil Perikanan dan Kelautan Pelabuhan Cilacap di pasar internasional.
Berdasarkan data hasil analisis Critical Success Factors (CSF) dalam analisis SWOT, bahwa kualitas produksi dan kestabilan atau peningkatan harga untuk produksi selanjutnya dapat menjadi strategi pengembangan pemasaran untuk memanfaatkan ketersediaan kualitas yang baik dalam rangka. untuk meningkatkan permintaan produk perikanan laut yang terus meningkat.
Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris)The title of this research is "Analysis of Potential, Competitiveness, and Development Strategy of Export Marine Fishery Products in Cilacap Harbor”. Cilacap Harbor is the only oceanic fishing port located on the South Coast of Java and directly facing the Indonesian ocean, which is known to have abundant potential of fish resources.
The purpose of this study was to analyse the potential, competitiveness, the strategy to strengthen the competitiveness, and the competitive and comparative advantages of marine fishery products in Cilacap Harbor. This research method uses Location Quotient (LQ), Shift Share and Revealed Comparative Advantages (RCA). And the analysis methods was using the SWOT and Critical Success Factors (CSF) Analysis.
The result of LQ calculation shows that the Cilacap Harbor has the potential to export its marine fishery products, those are Canned Tuna and Tuna Poch because it’s included in the criteria for the base sector. And According to the Shift Share calculation, from the calculation of the Provincial Share, the five production commodities of fishery and marine products at the Cilacap Harbor show a positive value, Proportional Share shows that has positive values are Frozen Shrimp, Frozen Lobster Shrimp, Canned Tuna, and Tuna Poch, and Differential Shift show that has a positive value are Canned Tuna and Tuna Poch only. The result of RCA also shows the all over the five commodities of fishery products, namely Frozen Tuna Fish, Frozen Shrimp, and Canned Tuna have high export competitiveness of Fishery and Marine Products in the Port of Cilacap in the international market.
Based on the data from the analysis of Critical Success Factors (CSF) within the SWOT analysis, that the quality production and the stability or increasing the price for further production can be a marketing development strategy to take advantage of the availability of good quality in order to increase demand for marine fishery products continues to increase.
