| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi di bidang farmasi mendorong untuk mengolah bahan alam yaitu minyak atsiri daun cengkeh menjadi sediaan losion dengan menggunakan asam sterat sebagai emulgator. Tujuan penelitian untuk melihat pengaruh asam stearat terhadap evaluasi sediaan dan melihat konsentrasi asam stearat yang menghasilkan formula terbaik. Penelitian dilakukan dengan membuat losion dengan variasi asam stearat. Dilakukan evaluasi organoleptis, homogenitas, freeze thaw yang dianalisa secara deskriptif, pH, viskositas, daya sebar, daya lekat dianalisa regeresi linear dan Anova kemudian dilanjutkan BNT. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penambahan konsentrasi asam stearat menyebabkan peningkatan viskositas, daya lekat, penurunan pH dan daya sebar. Formula terpilih konsentrasi asam stearat 6%. |

Inggris) | The development of science and technology in the pharmaceutical sector encourages the processing of natural ingredients, namely clove leaf essential oil, into lotion preparations using steric acid as an emulgator. The aim of this research was to see the effect of stearic acid on the evaluation of the preparation and to see the concentration of stearic acid that produced the best formula. The research was conducted by making lotions with variations of stearic acid. Organoleptic, homogeneity, freeze thaw were analyzed descriptively, pH, viscosity, spreadability, adhesion were analyzed linear regression and ANOVA then continued with BNT. The results showed that increasing the concentration of stearic acid caused an increase in viscosity, adhesion, a decrease in pH and spreadability. The selected formula has a concentration of 6% stearic acid. |
