| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | This study is entitled "Analysis of the Effect of Transportation and Social Demography on Income Inequality in Indonesia for the 2015-2018 Period". This study aims to find out whether income inequality in Indonesia can be affected by limited access to transportation. The variables taken in this study include transportation variables such as; Road infrastructure, motorized vehicles, ship visits at the port, as well as aircraft departures at airports. Researchers also tried to include social-demographic variables such as average length of schooling, percentage of health complaints, and percentage of formal workers. This research uses a quantitative model. The analysis technique used in processing the data uses Multiple Linear Regression with the Panel data model. The results of this study indicate the effecting of road infrastructure, motorized vehicles, the arrival of planes, the arrival of ships, the average length of schooling, health complaints, formal workers stimulant, or jointly affecting income inequality in Indonesia. Whereas partially only motorized vehicles, mean years of schooling, health complaints, formal workers have an effect on income inequality in Indonesia. Meanwhile, road infrastructure, the arrival of planes, and the arrival of ships do not have a significant effect on income inequality. Mean years of schooling g is the most dominant variable affecting income inequality. The implication of this research is to reduce the problem of income inequality, the government can focus on building infrastructure in the health and education sectors and also improving the availability of transportation infrastructure to support all of the social and economic activities of the community. It is hoped that transportation facilities that can be accessed by all people will eventually encourage income distribution and reduce inequality. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Penelitian ini berjudul “Analisis Pengaruh Transportasi dan Sosial Demografi Terhadap Ketimpangan Pendapatan Di Indonesia Periode 2015-2018”. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mencari apakah ketimpangan pendapatan di Indonesia dipenggaruhi keterbatasan akses transportasi . Variabel yang diambil dalam penelitian ini antara lain variable transportasi seperti ; Infrastruktur jalan, kendaraan bermotor , Kunjungan kapal di Pelabuhan , serta keberangkatan pesawat di bandar udara . Peneliti juga mencoba memasukan variabel social demografi seperti . rata-rata lama bersekolah , persentase keluhan kesehatan , serta persentase pekerja formal .Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis menggunakan Regresi Linear Berganda dengan model data Panel .Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya pengaruh infrastruktur jalan, kendaraan bermotor,kedatangan pesawat,kedatangan kapal laut, rata-rata lama bersekolah,keluhan kesehatan, pekerja formal secara stimulant atau bersama-sama berpengaruh terhadap ketimpangan pendapatan di Indonesia. Sedangkan secara parsial hanya kendaraan bermotor , rata-rata lama bersekolah,keluhan kesehatan, pekerja formal yang berpengaruh terhadap ketimpangan pendapatan di Indonesia. Sementara infrastruktur jalan, kedatangan pesawat,kedatangan kapal laut tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap ketimpangan pendapatan . Rata-rata lama bersekolah menjadi variabel paling dominan berpengaruh bagi ketimpangan pendapatan. Implikasi dari penelitian ini diharapkan dalam mengurangi masalah ketimpangan pendapatan , Pemerintah dapat berfokus pada pembangunan fasilitas di bidang kesehatan dan pendidikan dan juga peningkatan pada ketersediaan infrastruktur transportasi dalam menunjang seluruh kegiatan sosial dan ekonomi masyarakat. Diharapkan dengan fasilitas transportasi yang dapat di akses seluruh masyarakat pada akhirnya mendorong terciptanya pemerataan pendapatan dan memperkecil angka ketimpangan.
