| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Video call adalah panggilan telepon yang menggunakan video untuk mengirimkan gambar langsung dari orang yang melakukan panggilan. Fungsi dari video call ini untuk berkomunikasi antar user melalui layar video dari masing-masing perangkat user. Adanya video call membantu user bertatap muka tanpa harus bertemu. Namun dengan bantuan teknologi VoIP, video call dapat dilakukan pada jaringan LAN maupun internet dengan menggunakan nomor extension. Biasanya teknologi VoIP ini digunakan pada beberapa perusahaan besar maupun kecil. Beberapa perusahaan tersebut menggunakan teknologi VoIP dengan hanya memanfaatkan pesawat telepon saja. Teknologi VoIP yang berada di beberapa perusahaan biasanya menggunakan software berbayar yang relatif mahal. Namun kali ini terdapat software gratis yang mendukung pembangunan teknologi VoIP sehingga dapat mengurangi biaya perusahaan jika menggunakannya. SipXcom merupakan sistem komunikasi VoIP gratis dan fleksibel untuk dikoneksi ke berbagai perangkat dengan beda merek. SipXcom ini dialokasikan pada peran server secara terpusat sehingga dapat dijalankan dengan satu server saja. Adanya sistem ini membantu beberapa perusahaan untuk menjalankan pekerjaannya dengan bantuan video call namun dengan software yang gratis dan fleksibel. Ketika jaringan siap digunakan, tentunya jaringan harus dikatakan berfungsi dengan baik dan memiliki kualitas yang baik pula. Untuk mengetahui kualitas jaringan VoIP video call berbasis SipXcom dilakukan pengukuran QoS (Quality of Service) dengan beberapa nilai parameter QoS yaitu delay, jitter, throughput, dan packet loss. |

The function of this video call is to communicate between users through the video screen of each user's device. The existence of a video call helps users face to face without having to meet. But with the help of VoIP technology, video calls can be made on LAN or internet networks using extension numbers. Usually this VoIP technology is used by several large and small companies. Some of these companies use VoIP technology by only using the telephone. VoIP technology in several companies usually uses relatively expensive paid software. But this time there is free software that supports the development of VoIP technology so that it can reduce company costs if using it. SipXcom is a free and flexible VoIP communication system to connect to various devices with different brands. SipXcom is allocated to the server role centrally so that it can be run with only one server. The existence of this system helps several companies to carry out their work with the help of video calls with free and flexible software. When the network is ready to use, of course the network must be said to function properly and has good quality too. To find out the quality of the SipXcom-based VoIP video call network, a QoS (Quality of Service) measurement with several QoS parameter values is used, namely delay, jitter, throughput, and packet loss. |
