| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Kekurangan akses air bersih dan sanitasi di Indonesia menjadi perhatian banyak pihak. Seiring dengan tujuan SDG poin 6, USAID IUWASH sebagai organisasi internasional menjalin hubungan kerjasama dengan pemerintah Indonesia untuk memberikan akses air bersih serta membangun fasilitas sanitasi yang layak. Penelitian bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi kepada masyarakat Indonesia terhadap efektivitas peran USAID IUWASH dalam mewujudkan target SDG poin 6 Clean Water & Sanitation ditinjau dari teori efektivitas organisasi internasional dan indikator pencapaian SDG poin 6. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi literatur. Pendekatan ini tepat dalam menganalisa peran efektivitas USAID IUWASH karena memberikan referensi yang valid dan cukup detail. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah, peran USAID IUWASH pada periode 2016-2017 belum terlihat dikarenakan pada periode ini adalah tahap penjajakan dari proyek kerjasama yang berlangsung selama 5 tahun. Periode ini menjadi landasan bagi USAID IUWASH untuk menjalankan program mereka 4 tahun ke depan. Meskipun periode ini masih bersifat landasan, sudah dapat terlihat dampaknya bagi masyarakat yang membutuhkan akses air dan fasilitas sanitasi yang layak. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Lack of access to clean water and sanitation in Indonesia is a concern of many parties. In line with SDG point 6, USAID IUWASH as an international organization has collaborated with the Indonesian government to provide access to clean water and build proper sanitation facilities. The research aims to provide information to the Indonesian public on the effectiveness of USAID IUWASH's role in realizing the SDG target point 6 Clean Water & Sanitation in terms of international organizational effectiveness theory and SDG achievement indicators point 6. This study uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach. This approach is appropriate in analyzing the role of USAID IUWASH effectiveness because it provides a valid and sufficiently detailed reference. The results of this study are, the role of USAID IUWASH in the 2016-2017 period has not been seen because this period is the exploration stage of a collaborative project that lasts for 5 years. This period became the foundation for USAID IUWASH to run their program for the next 4 years. Even though this period is still basic, the impacts can be seen for people who need access to water and proper sanitation facilities. |
