Judul ArtikelPENGARUH PUPUK SILIKA ALAMI DAN STRES KADAR AIR TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN PRODUKSI TANAMAN TOMAT (Lycopersicum esculentum Mill.) PADA TANAH INCEPTISOL
Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendapatkan dosis pupuk silika alami terbaik dan kondisi stres kadar air tanah yang mampu mempertahankan pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman tomat dan mengetahui interaksi dosis pupuk silika alami dan kondisi stres kadar air terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman tomat pada tanah inceptisol. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Screen house Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Jenderal Soedirman dari bulan Desember 2019 hingga April 2020, Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok dua faktor yaitu dosis pupuk silika 0;5;10 dan 15 g/tanaman dan stres kadar air tanah yaitu 100%, 90%, 80% dan 70%. Variabel pengamatan meliputi tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, kandungan klorofil, jumlah bunga, umur berbunga, jumlah buah, volume buah, bobot buah, bobot tanaman basah, dan bobot tanaman kering. Hasil penelitian pemberian pupuk silika 15 g/tanaman memberikan volume buah terbaik 23,76 m³, pemberian pupuk silika 5 g/tanaman memberikan bobot tanaman basah terbaik 269,16 g/tanaman dan bobot tanaman kering terbaik 49,67 g/tanaman. Stres air tanah 100% menurunkan tinggi tanaman, tinggi tanaman terbaik 97,20 cm², jumlah buah terbaik yaitu 20 buah, bobot tanaman basah terbaik 287,29 g/tanaman, bobot tanaman kering terbaik 54,05 g/tanaman dan meningkatkan umur bunga, terbaik yaitu 40 hari setelah semai. Stres air tanah 90% menurunkan volume buah, volume buah terbaik 23,78 m³ dan bobot buah terbaik 24,05 g/tanaman. Stres air tanah 80% meningkatkan kandungan klorofil, kandungan klorofil terbaik 49,71 unit. Interaksi dosis pupuk silika alami 10 g/tanaman dengan kadar air tanah 100% memberikan tinggi tanaman terbaik 102,16 cm² ,jumlah buah terbaik 22 buah, interaksi dosis pupuk silika alami 15 g/tanaman dengan kadar air 90% memberikan bobot tanaman basah terbaik 319,16 g/tanaman, dan interaksi dosis pupuk silika alami 5 g/tanaman dengan kadar air 100% memberikan bobot tanaman kering terbaik 65,49 g/tanaman.

Inggris)The purpose of this research was to obtain the best dose of natural silica fertilizer to obtain soil moisture content stress conditions that were able to maintain growth and production of tomato plants and to determine the interaction of natural silica fertilizer doses and moisture content stress conditions on the growth and production of tomato plants on inceptisol soil. This research was conducted at the Screen house of the Faculty of Agriculture, Jenderal Soedirman University from December 2019 to April 2020, the experimental design used was a two-factor randomized block design, namely the dosage of silica fertilizer 0; 5; 10 and 15 g / plant and the stress of soil moisture content of 100. %, 90%, 80% and 70%. The observation variables included plant height, number of leaves, chlorophyll content, number of flowers, flowering age, number of fruits, fruit volume, fruit weight, wet plant weight, and dry plant weight. The results of this study were that the application of 15 g / plant silica fertilizer gave the best fruit volume 23.76 m³, 5 g / plant silica fertilizer gave the best wet plant weight of 269.16 g / plant and the best dry plant weight was 49.67 g / plant. 100% groundwater stress reduced plant height, the best plant height was 97.20 cm², the best number of fruit was 20, the best wet plant weight was 287.29 g / plant, the best dry plant weight was 54.05 g / plant and increased flower age, the best is 40 days after sowing. 90% groundwater stress reduced fruit volume, the best fruit volume was 23.78 m³ and the best fruit weight was 24.05 g / plant. Groundwater stress 80% increased chlorophyll content, the best chlorophyll content was 49.71 units. The interaction of doses of natural silica fertilizer of 10 g / plant with 100% soil water content gave the best plant height of 102.16 cm², the best number of fruit was 22, the interaction of doses of natural silica fertilizer of 15 g / plant with 90% moisture content gave the best wet plant weight 319 , 16 g / plant, and interaction of dose of natural silica fertilizer 5 g / plant with 100% moisture content gave the best dry plant weight of 65.49 g / plant.
