Indonesia) | PENGARUH EDUKASI GIZI MELALUI WHATSAPP TERHADAP ASUPAN ENERGI , LEMAK, SERAT, DAN MAKANAN JAJANAN PADA REMAJA OVERWEIGHT DI KECAMATAN KARANGPUCUNG Helma Yunara Saskhia1, Endo Dardjito1, Teguh Jati Prasetyo1 1Program Studi Ilmu Gizi, Fakultas Ilmu-Ilmu Kesehatan, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman Latar Belakang : Overweight terjadi karena penimbunan lemak berlebih ditandai dengan z-score (IMT/U) >1 SD - 2 SD. WhatsApp merupakan media sosial yang banyak digunakan remaja usia sekolah. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh edukasi gizi terhadap asupan energi, lemak, serat, dan konsumsi makanan jajanan pada remaja overweight SMK Negeri 1 Karangpucung dan SMK Darussalam di Kecamatan Karangpucung. Metode : Jenis penelitian quasi experimental dengan one group pretest posttest. Sebanyak 42 responden diambil dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, dimana 13 remaja overweight di SMK Negeri 1 Karangpucung dan 29 remaja overweight di SMK Darussalam Karangpucung. Data asupan energi, lemak, dan serat diambil melalui recall 2x24 jam dan konsumsi makanan jajanan melalui FFQ dan edukasi gizi tentang pembatasan asupan energi, lemak, konsumsi sumber serat, dan makanan jajanan diberikan menggunakan powerpoint dalam bentuk video melalui whatsApp. Analisis data dianalisis dengan menggunakan paired sample T-test. Hasil : Penelitian ini menghasilkan rata-rata asupan energi sebelum edukasi gizi sebesar 3879,15 kkal dan sesudah edukasi gizi sebesar dan 2282,71 kkal, rata-rata asupan lemak sebelum edukasi gizi sebesar 105,41 gram dan sesudah edukasi gizi sebesar dan 59,40 gram, rata-rata asupan serat sebelum edukasi gizi sebesar 13,72 gram dan sesudah edukasi gizi sebesar dan 13,95 gram. Rata-rata konsumsi makanan jajanan sebelum edukasi gizi sebesar 437,50 kali/minggu dan sesudah edukasi gizi sebesar dan 374,73 kali/minggu. Ada perbedaan asupan energi, asupan lemak, dan konsumsi makanan jajanan sebelum dan sesudah edukasi gizi (p=0,000, p=0,000, dan p=0,002). Tidak ada perbedaan asupan serat sebelum dan sesudah edukasi gizi (p=0,798). Kesimpulan : Ada perbedaan asupan energi, lemak, dan konsumsi makanan jajanan tetapi tidak ada perbedaan asupan serat sebelum dan sesudah edukasi gizi. Inggris) | THE EFFECT OF NUTRITION EDUCATION THROUGH WHATSAPP ON ENERGY INTAKE, FAT, FIBER, AND SNACK FOODS IN OVERWEIGHT ADOLESCENTS IN KARANGPUCUNG DISTRICT Helma Yunara Saskhia1, Endo Dardjito1, Teguh Jati Prasetyo1 1Nutrition Science Study Program , Faculty of Health Sciences,General Soedirman University Background : Overweight occurs because of excess fat accumulation is characterized by z-score (BMI/U) >1 SD - 2 SD. WhatsApp is a social media that is widely used by school age adolescents. The study aimed to determine the effect of nutrition education on energy intake, fat, fiber, and consumption of snack foods for overweight adolescents in public Junior High School 1 Karangpucung and SMK Darussalam in Karangpucung District. Methode : This type of quasi experimental with one group pretest posttest. 42 respondents were taken using purposive sampling technique, where 13 overweight adolescents at Junior High School 1 Karangpucung and 29 overweight adolescents at SMK Darussalam Karangpucung. Energy, fat, and fiber intake data were take through a 2x24 hour recall and data on snack foods consumption through FFQ and nutritional education on limiting energy, fat, consumption of fiber sources and snack foods are provided using powerpoint in the form of video via WhatsApp. Data analyzed by the paired sample T-test. Result : This research resulted mean energy intake before nutrition education was 3879,15 kkal and after nutrition education was 2282,71 kkal, mean fat intake before nutrition education was 105,41 gram and after nutrition education was 59,40 gram, mean fiber intake before nutrition education was 13,72 gram and after nutrition education was 13,95 gram. Mean consumption of snack foods before nutrition education was 437,50 times/week and after nutrition education was 374,73 times/week. There were differences in energy intake, fat, and consumption of snack foods before and after nutrition education (p=0,000, p=0,000, and p=0,002) but there was no difference in fiber intake before and after nutrition education (p=0,798). Conclusion : There are differences in energy intake, fat, and consumption of snack foods but there is no difference in fiber intake before and after nutrition education.
