| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Sistem proteksi adalah suatu sistem pengamanan terhadap peralatan listrik, yang diakibatkan adanya gangguan teknis, gangguan alam, kesalahan operasi, dan penyebab yang lainnya. Fungsi proteksi adalah memisahkan bagian sistem yang terganggu sehingga bagian sistem lainnya dapat terus beroperasi. Skema proteksi yang digunakan oleh PLN (Persero) UP2B DKI Jakarta dan Banten yaitu Defense Scheme (Sistem Pertahanan). Defense Scheme merupakan suatu skema proteksi yang digunakan untuk memproteksi sistem saat terjadi kondisi abnormal pada operasi sistem. Dalam penyelamatan operasi sistem, harus memperhatikan kondisi pasokan (pembangkitan) dan kondisi pembebanan. Apabila terjadi ketidakseimbangan antara pasokan dan pembebanan, maka akan menimbulkan kondisi yang disebut abnormal sistem operasi. Salah satu defense scheme yang terpasang di UP2B DKI Jakarta dan Banten adalah UFLS (Under Frequency Load Shedding) yang kemudian bisa digunakan juga sebagai skema island operation. Relai yang digunakan dalam skema UFLS dan island operation yaitu relai UFR (Under Frequency Relay). Relai ini bekerja apabila frekuensi sistem kurang dari settingan, untuk pengaturan defense scheme relai UFR di Gardu Induk Cengkareng Lama adalah 49.1 Hz. Jadi Relai akan trip jika frekuensi kurang dari 49.1 Hz. Dalam pemasangan defense scheme pada setiap gardu induk memiliki settingan yang berbeda tergantung kebutuhannya. Wiring yang digunakan untuk defense scheme dengan relai UFR island relatif sama disetiap gardu induk, hanya dibedakan sensing dan target trip saja. |

The protection scheme used by PLN (Persero) DKI Jakarta UP2B and Banten is the Defense Scheme. Defense Scheme is a protection scheme that is used to protect the system when abnormal conditions occur in system operations. In the rescue of the system operation, it must pay attention to the supply conditions (generation) and loading conditions. If there is an imbalance between supply and loading, it will cause a condition called an abnormal operating system. One of the Defense Schemes installed at UP2B DKI Jakarta and Banten is UFLS (Under Frequency Load Shedding) which can then be used as Island Operation. Relays used in the UFLS and Island Operation schemes, namely UFR relay (Under Frequency Relay). This relay works if the system frequency is less than the setting, for the setting of the UFR Relay Scheme in the Cengkareng Lama Substation is 49.1 Hz. So the relay will trip if the frequency is less than 49.1 Hz. In the installation of the defense scheme at each substation has different settings depending on their needs.
