| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini didorong oleh keingintahuan penulis mengenai performance layanan music streaming dari aplikasi Spotify dan JOOX yang merupakan aplikasi layanan music streaming yang cukup populer di kalangan masyarakat, khususnya kalangan muda. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis performance layanan music streaming Spotify dan JOOX menggunakan parameter QoS pada jaringan seluler dan Wi-Fi berdasarkan standar TIPHON dan mengetahui nilai indeks layanan music streaming Spotify dan JOOX menggunakan parameter QoS pada jaringan seluler dan Wi-Fi berdasarkan standar TIPHON. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan alat bantu aplikasi Wireshark yang berfungsi meng-capture paket-paket data pada saat terjadinya pertukaran data di antara server dan client. Paket yang telah ter-capture kemudian difilter menggunakan alamat IP yang digunakan oleh server dari Spotify dan JOOX untuk mengirimkan data kepada client. Kemudian paket-paket yang telah difilter akan diolah dan dianalisis menggunakan rumus dengan bantuan aplikasi Microsoft Excel. Hasil pengujian dari kedua aplikasi tersebut menggunakan beberapa jaringan seluler dan Wi-Fi akan dibandingkan, kemudian perbedaan dari hasil pengujian tersebut akan dianalisis. Dari pengujian yang telah dilakukan, didapatkan hasil dengan kategori memuaskan berdasarkan standar dari TIPHON. Spotify mendapatkan nilai indeks rata-rata 3.7 dari skala 4, sedangkan JOOX mendapatkan nilai indeks rata-rata 3. 3.7107 dari skala 4. Terdapat perbedaan hasil parameter QoS pada judul musik yang sama dari kedua aplikasi tersebut. Perbedaan ini disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor, seperti kualitas musik yang diberikan dan proses pengiriman data dari kedua aplikasi. |

Inggris) | This research is driven by the author's curiosity about the performance of the music streaming service from the Spotify and JOOX applications, which are music streaming service applications that are quite popular among the public, especially young people. The purpose of this study was to analyze the performance of Spotify and JOOX music streaming services using QoS parameters on cellular and Wi-Fi networks based on TIPHON standards and to find out the index value of Spotify and JOOX music streaming services using QoS parameters on cellular and Wi-Fi networks based on TIPHON standards. This research was conducted with the Wireshark application tool which functions to capture data packets at the time of data exchange between the server and client. The captured packet is then filtered using the IP address used by the servers from Spotify and JOOX to send data to the client. Then the filtered packages will be processed and analyzed using formulas with the help of the Microsoft Excel application. The test results of the two applications using several cellular networks and Wi-Fi will be compared, then the differences from the test results will be analyzed. From the tests that have been done, the results obtained are categorized as satisfactory based on the standards from TIPHON. Spotify got an average index value of 3.7 from a scale of 4, while JOOX got an average index value of 3. 3.7107 from a scale of 4. There are differences in the results of the QoS parameters on the same music title from the two applications. This difference is caused by several factors, such as the quality of the music provided and the process of sending data from both applications. |
