Indonesia) | Telekomunikasi di dunia yang telah memiliki banyak kemajuan dan perkembangan telah menyebabkan kebutuhan masyarakat akan kelancaran penyampaian informasi semakin meningkat. Berbagai macam fasilitas teknologi telekomunikasi terus dikembangkan agar pengguna dapat melakukan komunikasi suara, data, gambar dan video dengan kualitas yang baik. Salah satu inovasi yang dikembangkan oleh penyelanggara telekomunikasi dalam bentuk teknologi adalah smartphone. Di era saat ini teknologi sudah sangat semakin berkembang, seperti gadget yang digunakan setiap hari seperti smartphone dan notebook yang tidak lepas dari konektifitas Wi-Fi dan operator seluler untuk berkomunikasi. Aplikasi untuk berkomunikasi pada saat ini sudah banyak yang bisa di akses dengan notebook diantaranya seperti Web Whatsapp, Desktop Telegram, Line PC, Google Hangouts dan masih banyak lagi. Metode yang digunakan di dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan melakukan pengambilan data pada aplikasi Google Hangouts untuk melakukan panggilan suara pada konektifitas Wi-Fi dan operator seluler yang kemudian dianalisis dengan parameter dari Quality of Service (QoS) untuk mengetahui hasilnya. Dari hasil penelitian tugas akhir, mendapatkan nilai diantaranya rata-rata Delay mendapatkan nilai indeks performansi 4, rata-rata nilai Jitter mendapatkan nilai indeks performansi 3, rata-rata nilai Throughput mendapatkan nilai indeks performansi 3, dan rata-rata Packet Loss mendapatkan nilai indeks performansi 4 dari 3 konektifitas yang digunakan untuk penelitian ini. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Telecommunications in a world that has had a lot of progress and development has caused the people's need for fluency in delivering information increasingly. Various kinds of telecommunications technology facilities continue to be developed so that users can communicate voice, data, images and videos with good quality. One of the innovations developed by telecommunications providers in the form of technology is smartphone. In the current era, technology has increasingly developed, such as gadgets that are used every day such as smartphones and notebooks that cannot be separated from the connectivity of Wi-Fi and cellular operators to communicate. Currently there are many applications for communication that can be accessed with notebooks such as WhatsApp Web, Desktop Telegram, Line PC, Google Hangouts and many more. The method used in this study is to collect data on the Google Hangouts application to make voice calls on Wi-Fi connectivity and cellular operators which are then analyzed with parameters from Quality of Service (QoS) to determine the results. From the results of the final project research, get the value including the average Delay get a performance index value of 4, the average value of Jitter get a performance index value of 3, the average value of Throughput get a performance index value of 3, and the average Packet Loss get an index value 4 out of 3 connectivity used for this study. |
