| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Latar Belakang: Skizofrenia merupakan salah satu penyakit gangguan jiwa yang menjadi masalah utama di negara berkembang karena mengakibatkan penurunan produktivitas penderita dan mengakibatkan beban bagi masyarakat dan pemerintah. Penanganan skizofrenia diperlukan untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut mulai dari pengobatan yang rutin hingga pemeliharaan kondisi penderita dari gejala kekambuhan. Pemeliharaan kondisi sehat penderita skizofrenia tidak lepas dari peran keluarga yang mendukung upaya pemulihannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dukungan keluarga yang dalam upaya pemulihan penderita skizofrenia di Instalasi Jiwa RSUD Banyumas. Metodologi: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan Fenomenologi. Informan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 6 orang keluarga penderita skizofrenia sebagai informan utama dan terdapat informan pendukung yang terdiri dari 1 orang dokter spesialis kesehatan jiwa, 1 orang kepala ruang pemulihan dan 1 orang pendiri Paguyuban Puntadewa. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawacara mendalam kepada informan. Hasil Penelitian: Faktor predisposisi keluarga berupa pengetahuan, sikap, kepercayaan dan stigma terkait penyakit skizofrenia yang mempengaruhi proses pemulihan penderita skizofrenia. Dukungan keluarga telah diberikan oleh informan utama selama proses pemulihan penderita skizofrenia meliputi dukungan informasional, dukungan instrumental, dukungan penilaian dan dukungan emosional. Selain itu, terdapat peran dokter spesialis kesehatan jiwa, perawat serta paguyuban Puntadewa yang terlibat secara langsung dalam proses pemulihan penderita skizofrenia. Proses pemulihan penderita skizofrenia juga didukung oleh terapi yang diberikan oleh pihak rumah sakit berupa terapi aktivitas kelompok, terapi spiritual, terapi musik, terapi aktivitas okupasi dan terapi lingkungan. Proses perubahan perilaku keluarga dalam menjalani proses pemulihan penderita skizofrenia sesuai dengan teori Transtheoretical Models melalui tahapan prekontemplasi, kontemplasi, persiapan, aksi dan pemeliharaan. Kesimpulan: Dukungan keluarga terus diberikan selama upaya pemulihan penderita skizofrenia. Proses pemulihan juga didukung oleh peran tenaga kesehatan dan terapi yang diberikan. Inggris) | Background: Schizophrenia is one of the mental disorders which is a major problem in developing countries because it causes a decrease in the productivity of sufferers and causes a burden on society and the government. Management of schizophrenia is needed to overcome this problem starting from routine medication to maintaining the patient's condition from recurrent symptoms. Maintaining the healthy condition of schizophrenics cannot be separated from the role of the family that supports their recovery efforts. This study aims to determine the support of families in recovery efforts for schizophrenia sufferers at the Banyumas Hospital Psychiatric Installation. Methods: This study uses a qualitative research method with a phenomenological approach. The informants in this study consisted of 6 schizophrenic families as the main informants and there were supporting informants consisting of 1 mental health specialist, 1 head of recovery room and 1 founder of the Puntadewa’s Circle. Data collection techniques were carried out with in-depth interviews with informants. Results: Family predisposing factors in the form of knowledge, attitudes, beliefs and stigma related to schizophrenia that affect the recovery process for schizophrenics. Family support has been provided by the main informant during the recovery process for schizophrenics including informational support, instrumental support, assessment support and emotional support. In addition, there is the role of mental health specialists, nurses and the Puntadewa community who are directly involved in the recovery process for people with schizophrenia. The recovery process for schizophrenics is also supported by therapies provided by the hospital in the form of group activity therapy, spiritual healing, music therapy, occupational activity therapy and environmental therapy. The process of changing family behavior in undergoing the recovery process of schizophrenics in accordance with the theory of Transtheoretical Models through the stages of pre-contemplation, contemplation, preparation, action and maintenance. Conclusion: Family support continues to be provided during the recovery efforts for schizophrenics. The recovery process is also supported by the role of health and therapy personnel.
