| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | ABSTRAK Kentang (Solanum tuberosum L.) merupakan tanaman pangan terpenting keempat setelah gandum, jagung, dan padi. Kebutuhan kentang setiap tahun terus meningkat sejalan dengan semakin meningkatnya laju pertumbuhan penduduk dan industri makanan. Namun, produksi kentang justru mengalami penurunan tiap tahun. Naik turunnya produksi kentang disebabkan beberapa faktor, salah satunya adalah pemupukan yang belum tepat dan berimbang antara pupuk organik dan pupuk anorganik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pupuk pupuk organik dan pupuk anorganik serta interaksinya dalam meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kentang. Penelitian dilakukan di Dukuh Tretepan, Desa Pandansari, Kecamatan Paguyangan, Kabupaten Brebes, pada lahan Andisol dengan ketinggian tempat 1020mdpl. Penelitian berlangsung selama 4 bulan, dimulai sejak bulan April sampai dengan Juli 2019. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktorial dengan tiga kali ulangan yang terdiri dari dua faktor. Faktor pertama adalah pupuk organik dengan 6 taraf, sedangkan faktor kedua adalah pupuk anorganik dengan 4 taraf. Percobaan terdiri atas 24 kombinasi perlakuan dengan tiga kali ulangan sehingga terdapat 72 petak percobaan.Variabel yang diamati adalah tinggi tanaman (cm), jumlah daun (helai), bobot brangkasan (g), jumlah umbi per tanaman (buah), volume umbi (cm3), hasil umbi per petak efektif (kg), hasil per hektar (kg). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian pupuk organik berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap jumlah daun, tinggi tanaman, dan jumlah umbi per tanaman, berpengaruh nyata terhadap bobot brangkasan dan hasil umbi per hektar, serta tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap volume umbi dan hasil umbi per petak efektif. Pemberian pupuk anorganik berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap variabel pengamatan jumlah daun, tinggi tanaman, dan bobot brangkasan, berpengaruh nyata terhadap variabel pengamatan volume umbi, serta tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap variabel pengamatan jumlah umbi per tanaman, hasil umbi per petak efektif dan hasil umbi per hektar. Pemberian pupuk organik dan anorganik berinteraksi sangat nyata pada variabel pengamatan tinggi tanaman, berinteraksi nyata pada variabel pengamatan jumlah umbi per tanaman, hasil umbi per petak efektif dan hasil umbi per hektar, namun tidak terdapat interaksi pada variabel pengamatan jumlah daun, bobot brangkasan, dan volume umbi. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | SUMMARY Potatoes (Solanum tuberosum L.) are the fourth most important food crop after wheat, corn, and rice. The need for potatoes continues to increase every year in line with the increasing rate of population growth and the food industry. However, potato production actually has decreased every year. The rise and fall of potato production is due to several factors, one of which is fertilization that is not yet precise and balanced between organic fertilizer and inorganic fertilizer. This study aims to determine the effect of organic fertilizer and inorganic fertilizers and their interactions in increasing the growth and yield of potato plants. The research was conducted in Tretepan Hamlet, Pandansari Village, Paguyangan District, Brebes Regency, on Andisol land with a height of 1020 meters above sea level. The study lasted for 4 months, starting from April to July 2019. This research used a factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD) with three replications, consisting of two factors. The first factor is organic fertilizer with 6 levels, and the second factor is inorganic fertilizer with 4 levels. The experiment consisted of 24 treatment combinations with three replications so that there were 72 experimental plot.s The observed variables were plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands), stover weight (g), number of tubers per plant (fruit), tuber volume (cm3), tuber yields per effective plot (kg), yield per hectare (kg). The results showed that the application of organic fertilizer had a very significant effect on the number of leaves, plant height, and number of tubers per plant, significantly affected the stover weight and tuber yield per hectare, and did not significantly affect on tuber volume and tuber yield variables. effective plot. The application of inorganic fertilizer has a very significant effect on the number of leaves, plant height, and stover weight, significantly influences on the tuber volume, and does not significantly affect on the number of tubers per plant, tuber yields per effective plot and tuber yields per hectare. The application of organic and inorganic fertilizers interact very significantly on plant height, significantly interacting on the number of tubers per plant, effective tuber yield per plot and tuber yield per hectare, but there is no interaction on the leaf number, stover weight, and volume bulbs. |
