Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Tanaman tomat (Lycopersicum esculentum Mill.) adalah tanaman semusim berbentuk perdu dan termasuk ke dalam famili solanaceae. Kendala dalam budidaya tanaman tomat adalah adanya organisme pengganggu tanaman, salah satunya nematode puru akar (Meloidogyne spp.). BIO T10 merupakan biopestisida hasil metabolit sekunder jamur antagonis Trichoderma harzianum yang dapat digunakan sebagai agensia pengendali hayati. Penelitian bertujuan menguji konsentrasi BIO T10 efektif terhadap mortalitas nematoda puru akar, menguji pengaruh frekuensi BIO T10 terbaik dalam mengendalikan nematoda puru akar pada tanaman tomat, dan mengkaji pengaruh aplikasi BIO T10 terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman tomat.
Penelitian dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Perlindungan Tanaman dan Screen house Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Purwokerto dari bulan November 2019 hingga Maret 2020. Uji in vitro menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 5 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan, yaitu kontrol, BIO T10 1%, BIO T10 2%, BIO T10 3%, dan BIO T10 4%. Uji in planta menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok dengan 5 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan, yaitu kontrol, frekuensi aplikasi BIO T10 2 kali, frekuensi aplikasi BIO T10 4 kali, frekuensi aplikasi BIO T10 6 kali, aplikasi nematisida (karbofuran 3%). Variabel yang diamati pada uji in vitro yaitu mortalitas larva, dan pada uji in planta yaitu tingkat kerusakan akar, populasi akhir nematoda di dalam tanah, bobot akar segar, dan bobot tajuk segar.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan frekuensi BIO T10 mampu menimbulkan mortalitas nematoda puru akar, nilai LC50 yang dihasilkan sebesar 3,4% dan LC95 sebesar 8,9%. Semua frekuensi pemberian BIO T10 mampu menekan tingkat kerusakan akar, dan hanya frekuensi 6 kali mampu menekan populasi nematoda di dalam tanah. BIO T10 belum mampu meningkatkan komponen pertumbuhan pada tanaman tomat.
Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris)Tomato (Lycopersicum esculentum Mill.) is a shrub seasonal crop and belongs to the solanaceae family. One of the cultivation obstacles is the root knot nematode (Meloidogyne spp.). BIO T10 is a biopesticide produced by the secondary metabolite of the antagonistic fungus Trichoderma harzianum used as a biological control agent. The research aimed to test the effective concentration of BIO T10 on root knot nematode mortality, the effect of the best BIO T10 frequency in controlling root knot nematode in tomato plants, and their effect on the growth of tomato plants.
The research was conducted at the Plant Protection Laboratory and Screen house of the Faculty of Agriculture, Jenderal Soedirman University, Purwokerto from November 2019 to March 2020. The in vitro test used a Randomized Block Design with 5 treatment and 5 replications, namely control, of BIO T10 1 %, BIO T10 2%, BIO T10 3%, and BIO T10 4%. In planta test used a randomized block design with 5 treatments and 5 replications, namely control, BIO T10 application frequency 2 times, BIO T10 application frequency 4 times, BIO T10 application frequency 6 times, nematicide application (carbofuran 3%). Variables observed were larval mortality, level of root knot, final population of nematodes in the soil, root fresh weight, and shoot fresh weight.
The results showed that BIO T10 were able to cause root knot nematode mortality, the resulting LC50 value was 3.4% and LC95 was 8.9%. All frequencies of BIO T10 were able to reduce the level of root damage, and only 6 times the frequency was able to suppress the nematode population in the soil. BIO T10 could not able to increase the growth of tomato plants.
