Judul ArtikelPENGGUNAAN ACIDIFIER SEBAGAI FEED ADDITIVE DALAM PAKAN YANG MENGANDUNG PROBIOTIK TERHADAP ERITROSIT DAN HEMOGLOBIN AYAM BROILER
Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan acidifier (asam sitrat, asam laktat, dan asam format) sebagai feed additive pada pakan yang mengandung probiotik terhadap kadar eritrosit dan hemoglobin ayam broiler. Materi dan peralatan yang digunakan adalah 200 DOC ayam broiler, probiotik BAL, acidifier, pakan basal, EDTA (Ethylene Diamine Tetraacetic Acid), alkohol, kandang ayam sebanyak 20 unit, termometer, hygrometer, timbangan, spray, spuit, baki plastik, sapu dan alat tulis. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode eksperimental secara in-vivo dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) menggunakan 4 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan. Perlakuan yang dilakukan meliputi R0 = Ransum Basal (BS) ; R1 = BS + Probiotik dengan acidifier asam sitrat 1% ; R2 = BS + Probiotik dengan acidifier asam laktat 1% ; R3 = BS + Probiotik dengan acidifier asam format 1%. Penelitian dilakukan selama 35 hari dan pengambilan sampel darah dilakukan di hari ke-30, sampel dianalisis di Laboratorium Patologi Klinik Fakultas Kedokteran Hewan Universitas Gadjah Mada. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan acidifier dalam pakan yang mengandung probiotik berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap kadar eritrosit dan hemoglobin. Rataan kadar eritrosit berkisar antara 2,31 ± 0,227 (jt/µl) sampai 2,95 ± 0,434 (jt/µl), sedangkan rataan kadar hemoglobin berkisar antara 7,72 ± 0,48 g/dl sampai 7,88 ± 0,38 g/dl. Disimpulkan bahwa pemberian acidifier sebagai feed additive dalam pakan yang mengandung probiotik dapat menjaga kadar eritrosit dan hemoglobin tetap dalam kondisi normal.

Inggris)The aim of this study was to determine the effect of using acidifiers (citric acid, lactic acid, and formic acid) as feed additives in feed containing probiotics on erythrocyte and hemoglobin levels of broiler chickens. The materials and equipment used were 200 DOC broiler chickens, LAB probiotics, acidifier, basal feed, EDTA (Ethylene Diamine Tetra acetic Acid), alcohol, 20 units of chicken coop, thermometer, hygrometer, scale, spray, syringe, plastic tray, broom and stationery. The research was conducted with mIn-vivo experimental method with Completely Randomized Design (CRD) using 4 treatments and 5 replications. The treatments carried out included R0 = basal ration (BS); R1 = BS + Probiotic with citric acid acidifier 1%; R2 = BS + Probiotic with lactic acid acidifier 1%; R3 = BS + Probiotic with 1% formic acid acidifier. The study was conducted for 35 days and blood sampling was carried out on the 30th day, the samples were analyzed at the Clinical Pathology Laboratory, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Gadjah Mada University. The results showed that the use of an acidifier in feed containing probiotics had no significant effect (P> 0.05) on erythrocyte and hemoglobin levels. The mean erythrocyte levels ranged from 2.31 ± 0.227 (jt / µl) to 2.95 ± 0.434 (m / µl), while the mean hemoglobin levels ranged from 7.72 ± 0.48 g / dl to 7, 88 ± 0.38 g / dl. It was concluded that giving the acidifier as feed additives in feed containing probiotics could keep erythrocyte and hemoglobin levels in normal conditions.
