Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemberian acidifier yang terbaik berdasarkan konsumsi protein dan masa protein daging ayam broiler pada pakan yang mengandung probiotik. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada tanggal 27 September – 31 oktober 2019, di Experimental Farm dan di Laboratorium Ilmu Nutrisi dan Makanan Ternak Fakultas Peternakan, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Purwokerto. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode eksperimen secara in-vivo dengan rancangan acak lengkap dengan 4 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan, setiap unit percoban terdiri dari 10 ekor ayam broiler. Perlakuan yang diuji adalah penambahan acidifier yaitu: R0 = pakan basal, R1= pakan basal + asam laktat, R2= pakan basal + asam sitrat, R3= pakan basal + asam formiat. Acidifier diberikan pada air minum dengan konsentrasi 1% dari bobot badan ayam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian acidifier tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0,05) terhadap konsumsi protein dan masa protein daging ayam broiler dengan rataan konsumsi protein sebesar 17.57±1.52 gram/ekor/hari, dan masa protein daging 52,23±5,73 gram. Disimpulkan bahwa ke tiga acidifier (asam sitrat, asam laktat, dan asam format) menghasilkan konsumsi protein dan masa protein daging ayam broiler yang relatif sama akan tetapi terjadi peningkatan hasil.
Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris)The aim of the research was to determine the optimum consentration based on protein consumption and protein mass probiotics of broilers feed. The research was carried out on September 27 to October 31, 2019, at the Experimental Farm and in the Laboratory of Nutrition and Animal Feed Sciences, Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Jenderal Soedirman University, Purwokerto. The study was conducted using anexperimental method in-vivo with a completely randomized design with 4 treatments and 5 replications, and for each experiment consisted of 10 broilers. The treatments were observed on : R0 = basal feed, R1 = basal feed + lactic acid, R2 = basal feed + citric acid, R3 = basal feed + formic acid. Acidifier is given in drinking water with a concentration of 1% of body weight of chickens. The results showed that the administration of acidifier hadmass of no significant effect (P> 0.05) on protein consumption and proteinbroiler chicken meat with an average protein consumption of 17.57±1.52 grams / head / day, and protein protein mass of 52.23 ± 5.73 gram. It was concluded that the three acidifiers (citric acid, lactic acid, and formic acid) were resulting protein mass and consumption of broilers with same relative result, but there was an increase.
