| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Kebijakan dividen berperan penting dalam peningkatan kualitas perusahaan, sehingga semakin besar pembagian laba yang dibagikan perusahaan akan menunjukkan bahwa perusahaan tersebut memiliki prospek yang bagus untuk kedepannya.Penelitian ini berjudul “Pengaruh Profitabilitas, Dewan Komisaris Independen, dan Leverageterhadap Kebijakan Dividen (Studi Empiris pada Perusahaan Manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) pada tahun 2014 –2018)”. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh profitabilitas, dewan komisaris independen, dan leverage terhadap kebijakan dividen. Untuk analisis data menggunakan uji asumsi klasik, uji deskriptif, uji regresi data panel, uji determinasi, dan uji t. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu purposivesampling.Dari hasil penelitian ini diketahui bahwa Profitabilitas berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kebijakan Dividen, Dewan Komisaris Independen berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap Kebijakan Dividen, dan Leverage berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap Kebijakan Dividen pada perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2014 –2018.Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah dari ketiga variabel yang telah diuji hanya variabel dewan komisaris independen yang tidak mempunyai hubungan dengan kebijakan dividensehingga investor bisa melihat variabel lain seperti variabel profitabilitas dan leverageyang bisa menjadi indikator untuk menilai perusahaan sebelum melakukan investasi. |

Inggris) | Dividend policy plays an important role in improving the quality of the company, where the greater the distribution of profits distributed by the company will show that the company has good prospects for the future.This research entitled “The Effect of Profitability, Independent Board Of Commissioners, and Leverage on Dividend Policy (Empirical Study of Manufacturing Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014 -2018)”. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of profitability, independent board of commissioners, and leverage on dividend policy.Data analysis used in this research are classic assumption test, descriptive test, panel data regression test, coefficient of determination test, and t test. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling.From the results of this study note that Profitability has a positive and significant effect on Dividend Policy, the Independent Board of Commissioners has a negative and not significant effect on Dividend Policy, and Leverage has a negative and significant effect on Dividend Policy on manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014 –2018.The implication of this research is that of the three variables that have been tested, only independent commissioner variables that have no relationship with dividend policy so that investors can see other variables such as profitability and leverage variables which can be indicators to assess the company before investing. |
