| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian dilakukan untuk mengetahui agen pembawa ekstrak daun kelor terbaik terhadap kecernaan bahan kering dan bahan organik pakan domba. Penelitian telah dilaksanakan secara in vivo pada tanggal 30 September 2019 sampai 30 Desember 2019 di Experimental Farm dan Laboratorium Ilmu Nutrisi dan Makanan Ternak, Fakultas Peternakan, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Purwokerto. Materi yang digunakan adalah 18 ekor domba ekor tipis jantan yang berumur rata-rata 6 bulan, kandang panggung individu, pakan basal yang terdiri dari konsentrat (dedak dan bungkil kelapa dengan imbangan 2:1) dan jerami padi amoniasi dan rumput lapang dengan imbangan 1:1, imbangan konsentrat dan hijauan yaitu 60:40, pakan perlakuan yang diberikan yaitu ekstrak daun kelor 0,5% dengan agen pembawa tepung singkong, tepung soun, dan tepung beras. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimental menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL). Terdapat tiga perlakuan yang diuji, yaitu P1 (60% konsentrat + 40% jerami padi amoniasi dan rumput lapang + 0,5% ekstrak daun kelor dengan agen pembawanya tepung singkong), P2 (60% konsentrat + 40% jerami padi amoniasi dan rumput lapang + 0,5% ekstrak daun kelor dengan agen pembawanya tepung soun), P1 (60% konsentrat + 40% jerami padi amoniasi dan rumput lapang + 0,5% ekstrak daun kelor dengan agen pembawanya tepung beras). Setiap perlakuan diulang sebanyak 6 kali sehingga ada 18 unit percobaan. Variable yang diukur adalah kecernaan bahan kering dan bahan organik pakan. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis variansi dan dilanjutkan dengan uji lanjut Beda Nyata Jujur (BNJ). Rataan kecernaan bahan kering P1 = 47,46 ± 3,82%, P2 = 50,99 ± 3,02%, dan P3 = 39,06 ± 7,68%; rataan kecernaan bahan organik P1 = 48,48 ± 3,95%, P2 = 50,36 ± 2,94%, P3 = 39,58 ± 7,98%. Hasil uji lanjut BNJ menunjukkan bahwa P1 tidak berbeda nyata dengan P2 dan P3, sedangkan P2 berbeda nyata dengan P3. P3 memiliki nilai rataan kecernaan bahan kering dan bahan organik terendah, sedangkan P2 memiliki nilai rataan kecernaan bahan kering dan bahan organik tertinggi. Disimpulkan bahwa agen pembawa ekstrak daun kelor 0,5% terbaik pada penelitian ini adalah limbah soun. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | This study conducted to determine the best carrier agents of Moringa leaves extract on digestibility of dry matter and organic matter of lamb feed. This study conducted in vivo on September, 30th 2019 until December, 30th 2019 in The Experimental farm and Nutrition and Animal Feed Laboratory, Animal Science Faculty of Jenderal Soedirman University. The material used were 18 male thin-tailed sheep with an average age of 6 months, individual stage cages, basal feed consisting of concentrates (rice bran and cocconut meal with ratio 2: 1, and ammoniated rice straw and field grass with ratio 1 : 1, the concentrate and forage ratio was 60:40, the treatments were 0.5% moringa leaf extract with carrier agents of cassava flour, Soun waste, and rice flour. This study used experimental method and analyzed using completely randomized design. There were three treatments, P1 (60% concentrate + 40% ammoniated rice straw and field grass + 0,5% moringa leaf extract with a carrier agent of cassava flour), P2 (60% concentrate + 40% ammoniated rice straw and field grass + 0,5% moringa leaf extract with a carrier agent of soun flour), P1 (60% concentrate + 40% ammoniated rice straw and field grass + 0,5% moringa leaf extract with a carrier agent of rice flour). Every treatments replicated 6 times and the total were 18 trial units. The variables observed were digestibility of dry matter and organic matter. Data was analyzed using analysis of variance continued with the Honestly Significant Different (HSD) test. The means of dry matter digestibility were P1 = 47.46 ± 3.82%, P2 = 50.99 ± 3.02%, dan P3 = 39.06 ± 7.68%; The means of organic matter digestibility were P1 = 48.48 ± 3.95%, P2 = 50.36 ± 2.94%, P3 = 39.58 ± 7.98%. The result of HSD test showed that P1 had no significant with P2 and P3, however P2 had a significant different (P<0.05) with P3. P3 had the lowest of dry matter and organic matter digestibility rate, and P2 had the highest of dry matter and organic matter digestibility rate. It concluded that the best carrier agent of Moringa leaves extract 0,5% of this study is soun flour. |
