Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Penelitian mengenai pengaruh penggunaan tepung maggot asal limbah organik terhadap konsumsi dan konversi pakan puyuh (Coturnix coturnix japonica) periode growing dilaksanakan pada 27 Mei sampai 5 Juli 2019. Penelitian berlokasi di Jalan Martadiredja II No 10 Mersi Kecamatan Purwokerto Timur Kabupaten Banyumas dan laboratorium Ilmu Bahan Makanan Ternak Fakultas Peternakan Universitas Jenderal Soedirman Purwokerto. Tujuan penelitian mengetahui pengaruh pemberian tepung maggot terhadap konsumsi dan konversi pakan puyuh. Materi penelitian terdiri dari 200 ekor puyuh betina umur 10 hari, ransum terdiri dari jagung giling; dedak; bungkil kedelai; tepung ikan; tepung maggot; minyak; kapur; methionine; lisin; vitamin; dan vaksin, kandang tipe battery dan kelengkapannya; serta seperangkat alat analisis proksimat. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan 5 kali ulangan (P1= suplementasi tepung maggot 2%, P2= suplementasi tepung maggot 4%, P3= suplementasi tepung maggot 6%, P4= suplementasi tepung maggot 8%). Penambahan tepung maggot menghasilkan rataan konsumsi pakan sebesar 15,32 ± 0,323 g/ekor/hari, sedangkan rataan konversi pakan sebesar 4,06 ± 0,253. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ransum yang diberi penambahan tepung maggot berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap konsumsi pakan dengan respon konsumsi Y = 16,19 – 0,17X, R2= 59,27% dan r= 0,7699, tetapi tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0,05) terhadap konversi pakan.

Inggris)The research on the effect of the use of maggot flour from organic waste towards the consumption and conversion of quail feed (Coturnix coturnix japonica) in growing period has been carried out on May 27 to July 5, 2019. The research is located at Jalan Martadiredja II No. 10 Mersi, Purwokerto Timur District, Banyumas Regency and Material Science laboratory Animal Food, Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Jenderal Soedirman University, Purwokerto. The purpose of the study is to determine the effect of maggot flour on quail feed consumption and conversion. The research material consisted of 200 female quails aged 10 days, the ration consisted of ground corn; bran; soybean meal; fish flour; maggot flour; oil; chalk; methionine; lysine; vitamin; and vaccines, battery type enclosures and accessories; and a set of proximate analysis tools. The research design used was Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatments 5 replications (P1= maggot flour supplementation 2%, P2= maggot flour supplementation 4%, P3= maggot flour supplementation 6%, P4= maggot flour supplementation 8%). Addition of maggot flour resulted in an average feed consumption of 15.32 ± 0.323 g / head / day; while the average feed conversion was 4.06 ± 0.253. The results showed that the ration given the addition of maggot flour had a very significant effect (P <0.01) on feed consumption with consumption response Y = 16.19 - 0.17X, R2 = 59.27% and r = 0.7699, but no significant effect (P> 0.05) on feed conversion.
