| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penilitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kandungan senyawa ekstrak metanol dan fraksi n-heksan kulit batang C. soulattri serta aktivitas sitotoksik terhadap sel MCF-7. Identifikasi kandungan kimia dilakukan menggunakan uji tabung. Uji sitotoksik terhadap sel kanker payudara MCF-7 dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode MTT Assay dengan konsentrasi ekstrak metanol dan fraksi n-heksan adalah 1000; 500; 250; 125; 62,5; 31,25; 15,63 dan 7,81 µg/ml. selanjutnya dihitung nilai IC50. Pada uji tabung menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak metanol mengandung flavonoid, triterpenoid, fenol, saponin dan kuinon sedangkan pada fraksi nheksan mengandung triterpenoid dan fenol. Berdasarkan morfologi sel MCF-7 menunjukkan bahwa seiring dengan meningkatnya konsentrasi kerusakan sel akan semakin terlihat. Hasil uji MTT pada sel MCF-7 menghasilkan nilai IC50 dari ekstrak metanol dan fraksi n-heksan masing-masing sebesar 93,63 µg/ml dan 35,97 µg/ml. fraksi n-heksan memiliki aktivitas sitotoksik yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan ekstrak metanol. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | This research aims to determine the content of methanol extract and n-hexane fraction of C. soulattri stem bark and the cytotoxic activity of MCF-7 cells. Chemical content identification is done using test tube. Cytotoxic test on MCF-7 breast cancer cells was carried out using MTT Assay method with concentration of methanol extract and n-hexane fraction was 1000; 500; 250; 125; 62,5; 31,25; 15,63 dan 7,81 µg/ml. then IC50 value is calculated. The test tube showed that the methanol extract contained flavonoids, triterpenoids, phenols, saponins, and quinones while n-hexane fraction contained triterpenoids and phenols. Based on MCF-7 cell morphology shows that with increasing concentration, cell damage will be increasingly visible. MTT test result on MCF-7 cells produced IC50 values from methanol extract and n-hexane fraction respectively 93,63 µg/ml and 35,97 µg/ml. n-hexane fraction has better cytotoxic activity compared to methanol extract. |
