Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR) merupakan suatu kelompok mikroorganisme yang dapat hidup di daerah perakaran tanaman yang memiliki kemampuan menghasilkan IAA sehingga memberikan dampak positif untuk pertumbuhan tanaman. Bakteri PGPR dapat hidup di berbagai kondisi, salah satunya di lahan salin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh inokulasi PGPR indigenous lahan salin terhadap pertumbuhan vegetatif padi pada media dengan salinitas tinggi dan menentukan isolat yang paling efektif meningkatkan pertumbuhan vegetatif padi varietas Inpari Unsoed 79 Agritan. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Agronomi dan Hortikultura, serta Screen House Fakultas Pertanian UNSOED pada bulan Oktober 2019-Januari 2020. Penelitian ini disusun menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 6 perlakuan yaitu kontrol (tanpa inokulasi isolat), JA2, JB1, JB2, JD1, dan JE1 pada medium cair AB Mix dengan tingkat salinitas 5 dSm-1. Masing-masing perlakuan diulang sebanyak 4 kali sehingga didapat 24 unit percobaan. Setiap unit percobaan terdiri atas 6 tanaman padi. Variabel yang diamati yaitu tinggi tanaman, panjang akar, bobot kering akar, bobot kering tajuk, bobot kering total, luas daun, dan kadar klorofil. Data dianalisis dengan ANOVA, jika berbeda nyata dilakukan uji lanjut DMRT (Duncan’s Multiple Range Test) pada α=5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa inokulasi isolat PGPR indigenous lahan salin mampu meningkatkan pertumbuhan vegetatif padi pada media dengan salinitas tinggi dan semua isolat mampu meningkatkan pertumbuhan vegetatif padi pada media dengan salinitas tinggi, namun isolat JE1 menunjukkan hasil terbaik pada parameter panjang akar, biomassa akar, biomassa tajuk, biomassa total dan tinggi tanaman.

Inggris)Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR) is a group of microorganisms that can live in plant roots that have the ability to produce IAA so that it has a positive impact on plant growth. PGPR bacteria can live in a variety of conditions, one of which is in saline land. The research was aimed to study the effect of PGPR inoculation of indigenous land on vegetative growth of rice in media with high salinity and determine which isolates are most effective in increasing vegetative growth of Inpari Unsoed 79 Agritan varieties. The research was carried out at the Agronomi and Horticulture Laboratory, and the Screen House of the Faculty of Agriculture UNSOED in October 2019-January 2020. The research was arranged by Randomized Block Design with 6 treatments, namely control (without inoculation of PGPR), JA2, JB1, JB2, JD1 , JE1 and repeated in 4 times, so they were 24 unit experimental. Each experimental used AB Mix liquid medium with a salinity level of 5 dSm-1. The observed variabels were plant height, root length, root biomass, sub dry weight, total dry weight, leaf area, and leaf greenness. The data were analyzed by using ANOVA, if significantly different, a continued by DMRT α=5%. The results showed that inoculation of PGPR indigenous isolates of saline land was able to increased vegetative growth of rice in media with high salinity and all isolates were able to increased vegetative growth of rice in media with high salinity, however JE1 isolate showed the best results on parameters of root length, root biomass, sub dry weight, total dry weight and plant height.
