| Judul Artikel | Karakterisasi Morfologi Familia "Hippidae" (Crustacea) dari Pantai Parangkusumo Yogyakarta |
| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Superfamilia Hippoidea memiliki distribusi yang cukup luas di Indonesia yaitu pada pesisir selatan Jawa, Sumatra hingga Maluku. Distribusi familia Hippidae sangatlah luas dibandingkan dengan familia Albunidae. Familia Hippidae terdiri atas tiga genus yaitu genus hippa, emerita, dan mastigachyrus. Distribusi Hippidae di Indonesia telah dilaporkan oleh beberapa peneliti terdahulu, diantaranya terdapat di pesisir Cilacap, Kebumen, Yogyakarta. Mengingat kepiting Hippidae terdiri atas beberapa spesies maka diperlukan identifikasi untuk mengetahui kepastian nama spesiesnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kepiting Hippidae yang berasal dari pantai Parangkusumo Yogyakarta serta untuk mengetahui performa, morfometri dan meristik kepiting Hippidae yang berasal dari pantai Parangkusumo. Berdasarkan pengamatan performa morfologi, morfometri dan meristik, hasil penelitian yang didapat yaitu kepiting Hipiidae yang ditemukan dari Pantai Parangkusumo Yogyakarta adalah spesies Emerita emeritus, Hippa adactyla dan Hippa ovalis yang memiliki karakter karapas dengan bentuk oval memanjang dan bulat telur, memiliki antenula yang panjnagnya tidak melebihi panjang karapas, karapas dengan permukaan menonjol. memiliki dactylus pertama subchelate. Metode yang digunakan adalah survei, pengambilan sampel secara purposive random sampling. Sampel dari pantai Parangkusumo diambil sebanyak dua kali dengan interval waktu dua minggu, setiap kali kali pengambilan diulang tiga kali. Identifikasi dilakukan berdasarkan karakter morfologi, yang meliputi performa, morfometri dan meristik. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif untuk performa dan meristik, sedangkan morfometrik dengan Microsoft excel. |
