Indonesia) | Abstrak GAMBARAN HAMBATAN SELF MONITORING BLOOD GLUCOSE PADA PENDERITA DIABETES MELITUS TIPE 2 DI PUSKESMAS I BATURADEN Yanuar, Atyanti Isworo, Yunita Sari Latar Belakang: Penderita diabetes mellitus cenderung memiliki kadar gula darah yang tidak terkontrol, sehingga mereka membutuhkan self monitoring blood glucose untuk mengawasi agar tetap normal.. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran hambatan self monitoring blood glucose pada pasien DM tipe 2. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian cross sectional (potong lintang). Sampel penelitian sebanyak 71 responden dengan teknik total sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner yang pernah digunakan sebelumnya dan dilakukan modifikasi, serta telah dilakukan uji validitas (content validity). Pengolahan data menggunakan analisis univariat. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukan sebagian besar usia responden pada kategori lansia awal (46-55 th) sebesar 56,3%. Jenis kelamin responden mayoritas perempuan (74,6%) dengan tingkat pendidikan sebagian besar masih rendah, yaitu SD (47,9%) dan SMP (33,8%). Berdasarkan pekerjaan sebagian besar sudah bekerja (63,4%). Hasil persespsi SMBG mendapati sebagian besar responden cukup baik (57,7%), serta memiliki hambatan ketersediaan biaya (70,4%) dan ketersediaan alat (95,8%). Mayoritas responden memiliki situasi yang tidak mendukung dalam melaksanakan SMBG (83,1%), meskipun lebih dari separuh responden merasa tidak takut untuk melakukan SMBG (59,2%) Kesimpulan: Ketersediaan biaya dan alat, serta situasi yang tidak mendukung masih menjadi hambatan dalam melakukan SMBG. Inggris) | Abstract DESCRIPTION OF BARRIERS TO SELF MONITORING OF BLOOD GLUCOSE TO PATIENTS DIABETES MELLITUS TYPE 2 IN PUSKESMAS I BATURADEN Yanuar, Atyanti Isworo, Yunita Sari Backgrounds : People with diabetes melitus tends to have uncontrolled blood sugar levels, so they need self monitoring blood glucose to oversees to stay normal. This study aims to describe the barriers of self monitoring blood glucose with patient diabetes melitus type 2. Methods : This study was a descriptive quantitative using a cross sectional approach. The number of samples was 71 respondent with a total sampling technique. Research data collection using questionnaire adapted from previous study which has been modified. Results : The results showed that the majority of respondents in the early elderly category (46-55 years) amounted to 56.3%. The majority of respondents are female (74.6%) with the majority of education level still low, namely elementary school (47.9%) and junior high school (33.8%). Based on work, most of them are employed (63.4%). The SMBG perception results found that the majority of respondents were good enough (57.7%), and had constraints in the availability of funds (70.4%) and tools (95.8%). The majority of respondents have a situation that does not support in implementing SMBG (83.1%), although more than half of respondents feel not afraid to do SMBG (59.2%). Conclusion : Availability of costs and tools, and unsupportive situations are still to be barriers in conducting SMBG. Keywords : Diabetes, Self monitoring blood glucose, perception |
