| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh dan mengidentifikasi tiap faktor yang paling memberikan pengaruh terhadap ketimpangan gender dalam penyerapan tenaga kerja di Provinsi Jawa Tengah menurut 35 kabupaten/kota di Provinsi Jawa Tengah tahun 2017. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif dan regresi berganda double-log dengan alat bantu perangkat lunak EViews10. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata ketimpangan rasio penduduk bekerja terhadap jumlah penduduk di Provinsi Jawa Tengah sebesar 23.04 persen. Hasil dari regresi berganda double-log menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Pada model statistik laki-laki, variabel penduduk usia produktif, variabel rata-rata lama sekolah, dan variabel tingkat partisipasi angkatan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja di Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Variabel yang paling berpengaruh terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja adalah tingkat partisipasi angkatan kerja, (2) Pada model statistik perempuan, variabel penduduk usia produktif dan variabel tingkat partisipasi angkatan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja di Provinsi Jawa Tengah, namun variabel rata-rata lama sekolah berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja di Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Variabel yang paling berpengaruh terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja adalah jumlah usia produktif. Berdasarkan hasil estimasi perbandingan pada kedua model, laki-laki dan perempuan, menunjukkan bahwa masih ada ketimpangan gender dalam penyerapan tenaga kerja di Jawa Tengah tahun 2017. |

Inggris) | This study aims to analyze the influence and identify of each factor that most influential to the gender gap in labor absorption in Central Java province according to 35 regencies/cities in the Province of Central Java in 2017. This study used descriptive analysis and double-log multiple regression methods with EViews10 software tools. The descriptive analysis results showed that the average gap of employment-to-population ratio in Central Java province is 23.04 percent. The results of double-log multiple regression show that: (1) In the men’s statistical model, the productive-age population variable, the mean years of schooling variable, and the labor force participation rate variable have a positive and significant influence to the labor absorption in the Central Java Province. The most influential variable to the labor absorption is the labor force participation rate, (2) In the women’s statistical model, the productive-age population variable and the labor force participation rate variable have a positive and significant influence to the labor absorption in Central Java Province, but the mean years of schooling variable has a negative and significant influence to the labor absorption in Central Java Province. The most influential variable to labor absorption is the productive-age population. Based on comparison of the estimation results of the two models, men and women, show that there is still a gender gap in labor absorption in the Central Java Province in 2017. |
