| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | RINGKASAN Tafakirul, Linta. 2020. “Mobilitas Sosial Tokoh dalam Novel Canting Cantiq Karya Dyan Nuranindya”. Skripsi. Purwokerto: Fakultas Ilmu Budaya. Universitas Jendral Soedirman. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan 1) pengaruh mobilitas sosial terhadap kedudukan kelas sosial tokoh utama dalam novel Canting Cantiq karya Dyan Nuranindya 2) dampak positif dan negatif mobilitas sosial tokoh utama dalam novel Canting Cantiq karya Dyan Nuranindya. Novel Canting Cantiq menceritakan tokoh utama memperjuangakan cita-cita dalam kondisi ekonomi yang sulit. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan memberi motivasi supaya siswa terus melanjutkan sekolah ke jenjang yang lebih tinggi seperti yang dialami oleh tokoh utama. Mel berjuang memperbaiki kehidupanya ketika mengalami perpindahan kelas sosial karena mobilitas sosial dan mengalami dampak mobilitas sosial. Pekerjaan sebagai pelayan cafe hingga fashion desainer dilakukanya untuk mendapatkan uang. Kelas sosial dan mobilitas sosial yang digunakan mengacu kepada teori Soekanto. Kemudian, untuk mengetahui dampak negatif positif mobilitas mengacu kepada Kementrian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan serta teori Horton dan Hunt. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah deskriprif kualitatif. Data yang dikumpulkan berupa penggalan-penggalan cerita dalam novel kemudian dijelaskan melalui kata-kata. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik dokumentasi lalu dilanjutkan dengan menggunakan teknik simak dan teknik catat. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik heuristik dan hermeunetik. Hasil penelitian ini adalah tokoh utama mengalami mobilitas sosial vertikal dengan arah yang menurun dan mobilitas sosial vertikal dengan arah naik. Selanjutnya, terdapat 42 dampak mobilitas sosial positif dan negatif yang terbagi menjadi 6 jenis. Dampak mobilitas sosial yang paling dominan dialami oleh tokoh utama adalah dampak positif, mendorong seseorang menjadi lebih maju terdapat 26 data dengan bentuk karakter mandiri, ulet, dan bekerja keras. Hasil penelitian tersebut relevan dengan pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di jenjang Sekolah Menengah Atas kelas XII kurikulum 2013 berdasarkan Kompetensi Dasar 3.9 Menganalisis isi dan kebahasaan novel. |

This research is to describe 1) the impact of social mobility to the social classes of main character in Canting Cantiq Novel, 2) positive and negative impact of social mobility on the main character in Canting Cantiq Novel. Canting Cantiq told a story about the main character which fight for her dreams in the low economic condition. Therefore, this research is to motivate student to always keep spirit until they reach the highest level of education as what the main character did. Mel is suffering from her mobility of social class because of the impact of hers social mobility. She did everything to gain the money for her study needs, even became waitress until became a fashion designer. Social classes and social mobility in this research is based on what Soekanto said. Besides, to know the negative and positive impact of social mobility is the theory based on the Ministry of Education and Culture and Horton-Hunt theory. The type of this research is descriptive-Qualitative research. The data got from the part of story, and explained by words. The collecting data method here used documentation, observating, and taking a note. The analysis data used heuristic and hermeneutic technique. The result of this research is the main character facing the vertical social mobility is go down and up. There are 42 impacts of social mobility (positive and negative) and divided to 6 types. The most dominant of the impact is positive impact, because it can push the main character to be better person and 26 data is showing the character of independent, discipline, and hardwork. Those result could be relevant with Indonesian Language learning in SMA (High School) Class XII of 2013 curriculum to the Basic Competency (KD) 3.9. Analyzing the content and language of the novel. |
