| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Artikel hasil penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh tingkat pendidikan formal terhadap partisipasi politik di Kelurahan Bobosan. Dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif, dan sifat penelitian ini eksplanatif serta berjenis prediktif, dalam bngkai perpektif behavioralisme dan paradigma positivisme, hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukka bahwa hipotesis H1 diterima, artinya terdapat pengaruh tingkat pendidikan formal terhadap partisipasi politik. Hal tersebut dilandasi oleh analisis regresi linear sederhana yang menunjukkan t hitung > t tabel yaitu 7,073 > 1,660, serta taraf signifikansinya yang lebih kecil dari 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05). Serta R Squarnya menunjukkan angka 0,338 yang artinya adalah pengaruh tingkat pendidikan formal terhadap partisipasi politik adalah sebesar 33,8 %. Sedangkan sisanya yakni sebesar 66,2 % partisipasi politik dipengaruhi oleh variabel lainnya yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah telat membuktikan bahwa hipotesis H1 diterima atas dasar t hitung > t tabel. Oleh karena itu, terdapat pengaruh tingkat pendidikan formal terhadap partisipasi politik dalam pemilihan kepala daerah tahun 2018 di Kelurahan Bobosan Kecamatan Purwokerto Utara Kabupaten Banyumas. Serta besaran pengaruh yang diberikan oleh tingkat pendidikan forml terhadap partisipasi politik adalah sebesar 33,8 %, sisanya 66,2 % dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain. Sedangkan implikasi teoritis yaitu dengan adanya pengaruh tingkat pendidikan formal terhadap partisipasi politik maka dengan demikian mendukung teori apa yang disampaikan oleh Samuel P. Huntington bahwa partisipasi politik bisa dikatakan efektif ketika orang-orang yang berstatus lebih tinggi, khususnya mereka yang berpendidikan tinggi. Seseorang yang memiliki latar belakang pendidikan tinggi akan memahami benar kewajiban sebagai warga negara untuk berpartisipasi dalam politik. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | The article of this study aims to determine the effect of the level of formal education on political participation in Kelurahan Bobosan. By using quantitative methods, and the nature of this research is explanative and predictive in terms of the behavioralism perspective and positivism paradigm, the results of this study reveal that the results of this study indicate that the H1 hypothesis is accepted, meaning that there is an influence of formal education levels on political participation. This is based on a simple linear regression analysis that shows t arithmetic> t table that is 7.073> 1.660, and the significance level is smaller than 0.05 (0.000 <0.05). And R Squarnya shows the number 0.338 which means that the influence of the level of formal education on political participation is 33.8%. While the remaining 66.2% of political participation is influenced by other variables not examined in this study. The conclusion of this study is to prove that the H1 hypothesis is accepted on the basis of t arithmetic> t table. Therefore, there is an influence of the level of formal education on political participation in the 2018 regional elections in Bobosan Village, North Purwokerto District, Banyumas Regency. And the magnitude of influence exerted by formal education levels on political participation is 33.8%, the remaining 66.2% is influenced by other variables. While the theoretical implications of the influence of the level of formal education on political participation thus support the theory presented by Samuel P. Huntington that political participation can be said to be effective when people with higher status, especially those with higher education. Someone who has a higher education background will fully understand the obligation as a citizen to participate in politics. |
