| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Suara dalam air dapat berasal dari suara biotik, abiotik dan antropogenik. Sumber suara antropogenik dapat berasal dari aktivitas perkapalan. Aktivitas perkapalan merupakan sumber utama kebisingan antropogenik di lautan. Kebisingan tersebut dapat dijadikan sebagai objek penelitian akustik pasif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik suara kapal berdasarkan jenis kapal dan hubungan dengan jarak di alur pelayaran Pelabuhan Perikanan Samudera Cilacap. Metode yang digunakan adalah observasi dan wawancara. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa intensitas suara kapal bernilai 64,77 – 69,00 dB re µPa; frekuensi suara kapal bernilai 717,17 – 763,40 Hz; durasi interval suara bernilai 56,49 - 67,40 ms; dan durasi pulsa suara bernilai 44,21 – 61,60 ms. Intensitas dan frekuensi memiliki hubungan yang signifikan terhadap jarak, dimana nilai karakteristik tersebut mengalami penurunan seiring meningkatnya jarak. | Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Sound of the sea come from biotic, abiotic, and anthropogenic. Anthropogenic sound sources can come from shipping activities. Shipping activity is the main source of oceanic anthropogenic noise. This resulting noise can be use as a passive acoustict object. This study aims to determine the characteristics of the sound of the ship based on the type of ship ang the relationship with the distance in the shipping of the Cilacap Ocean Fisheries Port. Sound data are obtained from the result of the recording using the Hydrophone installed at a depht of 1-2 meters in the water and the distance data of the ship obtained using coordinate measurements on the Google Eart software. The result of this study indicate that the sound of intesity is 64,77 – 69,00 dB re µPa; sound of frequency is 717,17 – 763,40 Hz; sound of duration interval is 56,49 - 67,40 ms; and the voice pulsa duration of sound is 44,21 – 61,60 ms. Intensity and frequency have a significant relationship so distance, where the value of these characteristics has decreased with increasing distance.
