| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian yang meneliti tentang adanya ketimpangan antara tingginya jumlah pencari kerja dan rendahnya jumlah lowongan pekerjaan yang tersedia di Kabupaten Purworejo. Penelitian ini berjudul Analisis Lama Mencari Kerja Bagi Tenaga Kerja Terdidik di Kabupaten Purworejo (Studi Kasus 2013-2017). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pengaruh variabel tingkat pendidikan, tingkat pendapatan, pengalaman kerja dan jenis kelamin terhadap lama mencari kerja bagi tenaga kerja terdidik di Kabupaten Purworejo. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda dan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai t hitung variabel tingkat pendidikan terhadap lama mencari kerja sebesar -2,842 lebih besar dari nilai t tabel sebesar -1,678. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh negatif dari variabel tingkat pendidikan terhadap lama mencari kerja sehingga hipotesis pertama diterima. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai t hitung variabel tingkat pendapatan terhadap lama mencari kerja sebesar 0,944 lebih kecil dari nilai t tabel sebesar 1,678. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan pengaruh dari variabel tingkat pendapatan terhadap lama mencari kerja sehingga hipotesis kedua ditolak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai t hitung variabel pengalaman kerja terhadap lama mencari kerja sebesar 1,879 lebih besar dari nilai t tabel sebesar 1,678. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dari variabel pengalaman kerja terhadap lama mencari kerja sehingga hipotesis ketiga ditolak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai t hitung variabel jenis kelamin terhadap lama mencari kerja sebesar 0,824 lebih kecil dari nilai t tabel sebesar 1,678. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan pengaruh dari variabel jenis kelamin terhadap lama mencari kerja sehingga hipotesis keempat ditolak. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa pada usia yang masih produktif para pencari kerja diharapkan lebih aktif dalam mencari lowongan pekerjaan yang sesuai dengan keahlian dan pendidikan yang telah ditempuh. Pemerintah daerah baiknya memberikan kemudahan bagi para pencari kerja untuk mengakses informasi mengenai lowongan pekerjaan yang tersedia di Kabupaten Purworejo. | Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | This study is a study that examines the imbalance between the high number of job seekers and the low number of job vacancies available in Purworejo Regency. This study is entitled Analysis of the Length of Looking for Work for Educated Workers in Purworejo District (Case Study 2013-2017). The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of variables on education level, income level, work experience and gender on the length of time seeking work for educated workers in Purworejo Regency. The analytical tool used is multiple linear regression analysis and hypothesis testing using t test. The results showed that the t value of the variable level of education on the length of work search for -2,842 was greater than the value of t table of -1,678. This shows that there is a negative influence of the education level variable on the length of work seeking so that the first hypothesis is accepted. The results showed that the t value of the variable level of income to the length of work search was 0.944 smaller than the t table value of 1.678. This shows that there is no difference in the effect of the income level variable on the length of work seeking so the second hypothesis is rejected. The results showed that the t value of the variable work experience of the length of work search for 1.8879 is greater than the t table value of 1.678. This shows that there is a positive influence of the work experience variable on the length of work search so that the third hypothesis is rejected. The results showed that the t value of the gender variable on the length of seeking work was 0.824 smaller than the t table value of 1.678. This shows that there is no difference in the effect of gender variables on the length of work seeking so the fourth hypothesis is rejected. The implication of this research is that at a productive age, job seekers are expected to be more active in finding job vacancies that are in accordance with their expertise and education. In addition it is expected that job seekers can be more productive in filling time lags while looking for work by attending work training, internships and honing knowledge. The local government should make it easier for job seekers to access information about available job openings in Purworejo Regency.
