Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Stres oksidatif berperan dalam patofisiologi hipertensi. Peningkatan stres oksidatif menyebabkan terjadinya peroksidasi lipid. Malondialdehid merupakan salah satu produk peroksidasi lipid. Yogurt susu kecambah kacang merah (yosukamera) mengandung antioksidan fenolik yang mampu menurunkan kadar malondialdehid plasma dan tekanan darah. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh pemberian yosukamera terhadap kadar malondialdehid (MDA) plasma dan tekanan darah penderita hipertensi. Jenis penelitian adalah quasi experiment dengan rancangan pre-post with control group. Subjek penelitian adalah 18 wanita, berusia 45-80 tahun, tekanan darah ≥140/90 mmHg, dan mengonsumsi obat anti-hipertensi. Subjek penelitian secara acak dibagi menjadi dua kelompok, kelompok plasebo (n=9) dan kelompok yosukamera (n=9). Kelompok yosukamera mendapatkan 200 ml yosukamera/hari selama 2 bulan. Kadar MDA diukur menggunakan metode ELISA. Analisis data menggunakan uji Paired t-test, Wilcoxon dan Independent t-test. Kelompok yosukamera tidak mengalami penurunan tekanan darah sistolik (p=0.225) dan diastolik (p=0.931). Kelompok plasebo mengalami penurunan tekanan darah sistolik (p=0.012), tapi tidak ada penurunan tekanan darah diastolik (p=1.000). Kelompok yosukamera mengalami penurunan kadar MDA plasma (p=0.005). Kelompok plasebo tidak mengalami penurunan kadar MDA plasma (p=0.179). Tidak terdapat perbedaan perubahan kadar MDA plasma (p=0.211), tekanan darah sistolik (p=0.413) dan tekanan darah diastolik (p=0.876) antara kelompok yosukamera dan plasebo. Pemberian yosukamera 200 ml/hari selama 2 bulan menurunkan kadar malondialdehid plasma pada penderita hipertensi.
Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris)Oxidative stress plays a role in the pathophysiology of hypertension. Increased oxidative stress can caused lipid peroxidation. Malondialdehyde a product of lipid peroxidation. Red kidney bean spourt milk yogurt contains antioxidant phenolics that can lower malondialdehyde plasma level and blood pressure. The study aims to determine the effect of red kidney bean spourt milk yogurt on malondialdehyde plasma level and blood pressure in hypertensive patients. This research was a quasi experiment pre-post test with control group design. Subjects were 18 women, 45-80 years old, blood pressure of ≥140/90 mmHg, and taking anti-hypertensive drugs. Subjects were randomly divided into two groups, the placebo (n=9) and the yosukamera groups (n=9). Red kidney bean spourt milk yogurt of 225 ml per day were consumed for 2 months in yosukamera group. MDA plasma was measured with ELISA method. The statistical analyzes include Paired t-test, Wilcoxon and Independent t-test. Yosukamera group did not experience a decrease in systolic blood pressure (p=0.225) and diastolic (p=0.931). Placebo group decreased systolic blood pressure (p=0.012), but not decrease in diastolic blood pressure (p=1.000). Yosukamera group decreased MDA plasma level (p=0.005). Placebo group not decreased MDA plasma level (p=0.179). There were no difference in changes in MDA plasma level (p=0.211), systolic blood pressure (p=0.413) and diastolic blood pressure (p=0.876) between groups of yosukamera and plasebo. Consumption of 200 ml red kidney bean spourt milk yogurt per day for 2 months decrease malondialdehyde level in hypertensive patients.
