| Judul Artikel | HUBUNGAN ANTARA TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN MEMBACA LABEL GIZI DAN POLA KONSUMSI MAKANAN KEMASAN DENGAN STATUS GIZI REMAJA DI SMA NEGERI 1 SOKARAJA |
| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Latar Belakang: Kurangnya perhatian seseorang dalam membaca label gizi makanan kemasan dapat mengganggu kesehatan seperti kejadian status gizi lebih. Salah satu faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap penggunaan label gizi makanan kemasan adalah pengetahuan konsumen. Faktor lain yang berkontribusi secara langsung terhadap status gizi lebih adalah pola konsumsi makanan kemasan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan membaca label gizi dan pola konsumsi makanan kemasan dengan status gizi remaja di SMA Negeri 1 Sokaraja. Metode: Desain penelitian ini adalah observasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional, jumlah sampel 94 orang diambil secara stratified random sampling. Tingkat pengetahuan membaca label gizi diukur dengan kuesioner dan pola konsumsi makanan kemasan dengan metode Food Frequency Questionnaire. Analisis data menggunakan uji Chi Square. Hasil penelitian: Sebanyak 67% responden berjenis kelamin perempuan dan sebanyak 34% berusia 16 tahun. Berdasarkkan status gizi, sebanyak 76,6% status gizi normal, 34% responden memiliki tingkat pengetahuan membaca label gizi tidak baik dan sebanyak 50% responden memiliki pola konsumsi makanan kemasan tidak baik. Hasil uji Chi Square menunjukkan tidak ada hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan membaca label gizi (p=0,511) dan pola konsumsi makanan kemasan (p=0,159) dengan status gizi. Kesimpulan: Tidak ada hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan membaca label gizi dan pola konsumsi makanan kemasan dengan status gizi. | Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Background: Lack of attention to someone in reading nutritional labels on packaging food can interfere health such as the incidence of over nutritional. One of the influential factors in the use of nutritional labels on packaging food is consumer knowledge. Another factor that directly contributes the nutritional status is consumption pattern of packaged food. This study aimed to determine the correlation between the level of knowledge reading nutrition labels and consumption patterns of packaged food with adolescents nutritional status in senior high school 1 Sokaraja. Methods: The design of this research was observational with a cross sectional approach, a sample of 94 people taken by stratified random sampling. The level of knowledge reading nutrition labels was measured by a questionnaire and consumption patterns of packaged food using the Food Frequency Questionnaire method. The data was analyzed by Chi Square test. Results: 67% of the respondents were female and 34% were 16 years old. Based on nutritional status, 76.6% of normal nutritional status, 34% of respondents had a level of knowledge of reading nutrition labels was not good and 50% of respondents had consumption pattern of packaged food was not good. The results of Chi Square test showed that there was no correlation between the level of knowledge of reading nutritional labels (p = 0.511) and consumption patterns of packaged food (p = 0.159) with nutritional status. Conclusion: there was no correlation between the level of knowledge reading nutrition labels and consumption patterns of packaged food with nutritional status.
