Indonesia) | Abstrak PENGARUH PENDIDIKAN KESEHATAN PUBERTAS DENGAN MEDIA VIDEO TERHADAP KESIAPAN REMAJA MENGHADAPI MASA PUBERTAS Azis Muchsin Hernawan¹ Mekar Dwi Anggraeni² Endang Triyanto² Latar Belakang: Masa pubertas merupakan masa seorang anak mengalami perubahan secara fisik, psikologis, sosial dan seksual. Pada masa pubertas remaja merasa dirinya tidak normal karena pesatnya pertumbuhan, konsep diri kurang baik dan prestasi menjadi rendah. Pendidikan kesehatan merupakan salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan kesiapan remaja dalam menghadapi masa pubertas. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan pubertas dengan media video terhadap kesiapan remaja menghadapi masa pubertas. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan quasi experiment dengan rancangan two group pretest and postest design. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik total sampling, dengan 125 resonden yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner berkaitan dengan kesiapan remaja menghadapi masa pubertas. Analisis data menggunakan uji statistik Chi Square test. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan kesiapan remaja menghadapi masa pubertas sebelum dan sesudah pendidikan kesehatan dengan media video dengan nilai p=0,000. Kesimpulan: Pendidikan kesehatan pubertas dengan media video dapat meningkatkan kesiapan remaja menghadapi masa pubertas. |

Inggris) | Abstract THE EFFECT OF PUBERTY HEALTH EDUCATION WITH VIDEO MEDIA ON ADOLESCENT AWARENESS WITH PUBERTY PERIOD Azis Muchsin Hernawan¹ Mekar Dwi Anggraeni² Endang Triyanto² Background: Puberty is period when a child experiences physical, psychosocial, social and sexual changes. At puberty, adolescent feels themselves abnormal because of rapid growth, low self concept and low achievement. Health education is one of the way to increase adolescent readiness in confronting of puberty. Purpose: The goal of this research is to determine the effect of puberty health education with video as the media on adolescent readiness in confronting puberty. Method: This research is use quasi experimental design with two groups pretest and postest design. The sampling technique is use total sampling technique, with 125 respondents who meet the inclusion criteria. The instrument is use questionnaire related to adolescent readiness in confronting puberty. Data analysis is use Chi-Square statistical test. Result: The result shows that there are differences of adolescent readiness in confronting puberty before and after health education with video as the media, where the value of p=0,000. Conclusion: Puberty health education with video as the media can increase adolescent readiness in confront of puberty. |
