| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Kentang merupakan salah satu komoditas sayuran yang mendatangkan keuntungan bagi petani. Metode budidaya kentang dengan sistem guludan horizontal, cukup efektif mengurangi laju erosi. Di pihak lain, berpotensi menimbulkan kondisi jenuh air (water logging) pada profil guludan sehingga berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman. Pengembangan sistem guludan horizontal dengan teknik drainase tertentu yakini dapat mengatasi permasalahan water logging diatas, namun aplikasi pada budi daya tanaman kentang belum banyak di pergunakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kentang pada sistem guludan horizontal dengan variasi jarak saluran drainase. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari sampai juli 2018 di Serang, Karangreja, Kabupaten Purbalingga, Jawa Tengah. Penelitian ini disusun berdasarkan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL), terdiri dari 4 perlakuan yaitu : 1.) Jarak tanpa saluran drainase. 2) Jarak saluran drainase 1 meter. 3.) Jarak saluran drainase 1,5 meter. 4.) Jarak saluran drainase 2 meter. Parameter yang diukur meliputi : jumlah daun, tinggi tanaman, jumlah umbi, dan bobot umbi.Data penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan pengujian ANOVA untuk mengetahui signifikan atau tidaknya perbedaan dan pengaruh pada setiap perlakuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa sistem guludan horizontal dengan jarak saluran drainase 2 meter berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan daun dan pertumbuhan tinggi tanaman. Pada guludan tersebut rata-rata jumlah daun dan tinggi tanaman masing-masing mencapai 10,9 helai dan 33,7 cm pada guludan tersebut, sedangkan hasil kentang keseluruhan bobot mencapai 67,2 ton\ha dan jumlah umbi keseluruhan sebesar 3399,4 umbi/ha. Merujuk pada hasil penelitian didapatkan pertumbuhan tanaman kentang menggunakan perlakuan jarak saluran 2 meter lebih baik karena produktifitasnya kentang jauh lebih baik. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Potatoes are one of the vegetable commodities that brings benefits to farmers. Potato cultivation method with horizontal mound system, is quite effective in reducing the rate of erosion. On the other hand, the potential to cause water saturation conditions (water logging) on the profile of the mounds so that it affects plant growth. The development of horizontal mound system with certain drainage techniques is sure to overcome the problem of water logging above, but the application of potato cultivation has not been widely used. This study aims to determine the growth and yield of potato plants in the horizontal mound system with variations in the distance of the drainage channel. This research was conducted from February to July 2018 in Serang, Karangreja, Purbalingga Regency, Central Java. This study was compiled based on a Completely Randomized Design (CRD), consisting of 4 treatments, namely: 1.) Distance without drainage channels. 2) Drainage distance of 1 meter. 3.) Distance of drainage channels 1.5 meters. 4.) Drainage distance of 2 meters. The parameters measured include: number of leaves, plant height, number of tubers, and tuber weights. The research data were analyzed using ANOVA testing to determine whether there were significant differences and effects on each treatment. The results showed that the horizontal mound system with a distance of 2 meters of drainage channels significantly affected leaf growth and plant height growth. On these mounds the average number of leaves and plant height each reached 10.9 strands and 33.7 cm in these mounds, while the overall potato yield reached 67.2 tons \ ha and total tubers amounted to 3399.4 tubers / Ha. Referring to the results of the study found that the growth of potato plants using a 2 meter channel distance treatment is better because the productivity of potatoes is much better. |
