Kementerian Riset, Teknologi dan Pendidikan Tinggi, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Fakultas Ilmu Budaya, Jurusan Pendidikan Bahasa, Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris, Penelitian ini berjudul “Penggunaan Video tutorial Dalam Pengajaran Menulis Teks Deskriptif (Studi Eksploratif Dalam Penerapan Video Tutorial Dalam Pengajaran Menulis Teks Deskriptif untuk Siswa Kelas Sebelas TITL SMK N 2 Purwokerto Tahun Ajaran 2019/2020). Fokus utama penelitian ini adalah penggunaan tutorial video dalam pengajaran menulis teks deskriptif. Fokus umum penelitian ini adalah pengajaran menulis. Data diperoleh dari kuesioner, observasi dan wawancara. Data dari observasi, wawancara dan kuesioner ditulis dalam bentuk catatan lapangan, dan grafik. Dalam menganalisis data, peneliti menyeleksi dan menampilkan data yang terkait dengan tujuan penelitian. Data disajikan melalui penjelasan deskriptif. Data ini dirancang sebagai penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian ini merupakam studi eksploratif tentang penerapan video tutorial dalam teks prosedur pengajaran. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah (1) siswa antusias menggunakan video tutorial sebagai media pengajaran dalam teks prosedur menulis (2) siswa menyambut baik penerapan video tutorial sebagai media pengajaran (3) masalah yang dihadapi oleh siswa kelas 11 TITL di SMK N 2 Purwokerto dalam menulis prosedur teks adalah kurangnya kosakata dan mereka tidak mengerti tata bahasa dengan baik. Saran bagi guru Bahasa Inggris yang ingin menerapkan video tutorial dalam teks prosedur pengajaran sebagai media pengajaran harus menjelaskan tentang tata bahasa dan penerapan bentuk kata. Untuk siswa harus membaca kamus atau media lain untuk meningkatkan kosakata. |

The research entitled “The Use of Tutorial Video in Teaching Writing Procedure Text (An Explorative Study on the Implementation of Tutorial Video in Teaching Writing Procedure Text to the Students of Twelfth Grade 11 TITL SMK N 2 Purwokerto in the Academic Year of 2019/2020)”. The general concern of this research was teaching writing. The main concern of this research was the use of tutorial video in teaching writing procedure text. The data were collected by using questionnaire, observation and interview. The data from observation, interview and questionnaire were written in the form of brief description, and chart. In analyzing the data, researcher selected and displayed the data related to the research objectives. The data were presented through descriptive explanation. The data is design as qualitative research. It was an explorative study on the implementation of tutorial video in teaching procedure text. The results of this research are (1) students were enthusiastic in using tutorial video as a teaching media in writing procedure text (2) students welcomed the implementation of tutorial video as teaching media (3) the problems faced by 11th TITL students of SMK N 2 Purwokerto in writing procedure text were the lack of vocabulary and they did not understand grammar well. The suggestion for English teacher who want to apply tutorial video in teaching procedure text as teaching media, the teacher should explain about grammar and the application of tenses. In addition, for the students should read the dictionary or another media to improve the vocabulary. |
