| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Tanaman okra memiliki banyak manfaat sebagai pangan fungsional yang dapat menurunkan gula darah, sehingga memiliki peluang pasar yang bagus. Beberapa usaha dapat dilakukan untuk mengembangkan okra, antara lain dengan pemangkasan daun dan pemberian pupuk guano. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui : 1) pengaruh waktu pemangkasan daun terbaik terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman okra, 2) pengaruh dosis pupuk guano yang terbaik terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman okra dan 3) pengaruh interaksi antara waktu pemangkasan daun dan dosis pupuk guano terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman okra. Penelitian telah dilaksanakan di Lahan ex farm dan Laboratorium Agronomi dan Hortikultura Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Jenderal Soedirman mulai bulan Mei sampai bulan Agustus 2019. Metode yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap (RAKL) dengan 2 faktor dan 3 ulangan. Faktor pertama adalah waktu pemangkasan daun yaitu tanpa pemangkasan daun, pemangkasan 25 HST dan pemangkasan 50 HST. Faktor kedua adalah dosis pupuk guano yaitu 0 ton/ha, 5 ton/ha, 10 ton/ha dan 15 ton/ha. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan Uji F 5% kemudian dilanjutkan dengan Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT). Variabel yang diamati meliputi tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, waktu berbunga, jumlah buah, bobot buah, luas daun, panjang buah, kadar kehijauan daun, bobot segar tajuk, bobot segar akar, bobot kering tajuk dan bobot kering akar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : 1) waktu pemangkasan daun 25 HST meningkatkan panjang buah 17,163 g, tanaman tanpa pemangkasan daun meningkatkan bobot segar akar 37,833 g, bobot kering tajuk 34,199 g dan bobot kering akar 8,162 g; 2) dosis pupuk guano 15 ton/ha meningkatkan jumlah daun 38,511 helai, bobot segar tajuk 268,777 g dan bobot kering tajuk 35,069 g, dosis pupuk guano 10 ton/ha meningkatkan kadar kehijauan daun 47,977; 3) tidak terjadi interaksi antara waktu pemangkasan daun dan dosis pupuk guano terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman okra. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Okra has many benefits as a functional food that can reduce blood sugar, so it has a good market opportunity. Efforts can be made to develop okra, including trimming leaves and applying guano fertilizer. The purpose of this study was to determine: 1) the effect of the best leaf pruning time on the growth and yield of okra plants, 2) the effect of the best dose of guano fertilizer on the growth and yield of okra plants and 3) the effect of the interaction between the leaf pruning time and guano fertilizer dose on growth and okra crop yields. The research has been carried out in the ex farm field and the Agronomy and Horticulture Laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture, Jenderal Soedirman University from May to August 2019. The method used is a Complete Randomized Block Design (RAKL) with 2 factors and 3 replications. The first factor is the time of leaf pruning that is without leaf pruning, 25 day after planting and 50 day after planting. The second factor is the dose of guano fertilizer which is 0 tons / ha, 5 tons / ha, 10 tons / ha and 15 tons / ha. The data obtained were analyzed using the 5% F Test and then followed by Duncan's Multiple Range Test (DMRT). Variables observed were plant height, number of leaves, flowering time, number of fruits, fruit weight, leaf area, fruit length, leaf greenness, crown fresh weight, root fresh weight, crown dry weight and root dry weight. The results showed that: 1) pruning time of 25 HST leaves increased fruit length 17.163 g, plants without leaf pruning increased root fresh weight 37.833 g, canopy dry weight 34.199 g and root dry weight 8,162 g; 2) the dose of guano fertilizer 15 tons / ha increases the number of leaves 38,511 strands, the crown fresh weight 268,777 g and the dry weight of the canopy 35,069 g, the dose of guano fertilizer 10 tons / ha increases the level of greenness of the leaves 47,977; 3) there was no interaction between the time of leaf pruning and the dose of guano fertilizer on the growth and yield of okra plants. |
