| Judul Artikel | EKSPLORASI DAN IDENTIFIKASI CENDAWAN PATOGEN GULMA DAUN LEBAR SERTA UJI VIRULENSINYA TERHADAP GULMA DAUN LEBAR DAN TANAMAN BUDIDAYA |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | This research aimed to: (1) determine the type of pathogenic fungi that attack wide leaf weeds and have potential as bioherbicides, (2) determine the virulence of pathogenic fungi isolated from wide leaf weeds, and (3) determine the effect of pathogenic fungi on cultivated plants (tomatoes, peanuts, and cucumbers). The study was conducted at the Plant Protection Laboratory and Screen House of the Faculty of Agriculture, Jenderal Soedirman University, from March to August 2019. The research was conducted in three main stages: (1) exploration and identification of pathogenic fungi, (2) virulence testing of wide leaf weeds using a split- The plot was repeated three times, with the control main plot, Fusarium sp., and Chaetomium sp. and subplots in the form of Asystasia gangetica, Ageratum conyzoides, Synedrella nodiflora, Wedelia trilobata, and Amaranthus spinosus, (3) virulence tests on cultivated plants using a split-plot design repeated three times, with the main control plot, Fusarium sp., and Chaetomium sp. and subplots in the form of tomatoes, peanuts and cucumbers. Variables observed were divided into exploration and identification, including symptoms of disease in the field, growth of pathogens in PDA medium, pathogenic spore forms, and virulence of pathogens obtained. At the virulence test stage, the observed variables include disease symptoms, incubation period, disease intensity, disease incidence, wet weight, and dry weight, as well as variable number of seeds which are only observed in weed virulence tests. The results of this study obtained four types of pathogenic fungi including Nigrospora sp., Aspergillus sp., Fusarium sp., And Chaetomium sp., With two virulent pathogenic fungi namely Fusarium sp. and Chaetomium sp. Both virulent fungi were tested on five types of weeds, especially weed Ageratum conyzoides, each with a disease incidence of 25.92% for Fusarium sp. and 29.51% for the treatment of Chaetomium sp. Whereas in three types of cultivated plants, pathogenic fungi cannot cause disease. |
