| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian dengan judul “Pengaruh Lama Thawing dan Lama Post Thawing dengan Air Hangat (37oC ) terhadap Motilitas, Viabilitas dan Abnormalitas Semen Beku Kambing PE” ini dilaksanakan tanggal 30 Oktober 2019 sampai dengan 11 Oktober 2019 yang bertempat di Balai Inseminasi Buatan Lembang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh lama thawing dan lama post thawing menggunakan air hangat (37oC) terhadap motilitas, viabilitas dan abnormalitas spermatozoa kambing PE. Materi penelitian yang digunakan adalah semen beku kambing PE dalam bentuk straw 0,25 cc sebanyak 30 dosis yang didapat dari Balai Inseminasi Buatan Lembang, larutan Eosin 50 ml, nitrogen cair 4 liter, Eosin B, natrium sitrat 3% dan aquabidestillata 100ml dan air hangat 37oC, container 3 liter, seperangkat alat mikroskop, stopwatch, kapas, thermometer, object glass 30 buah, erlenmeyer 1 buah, gelas ukur 1 buah, pengaduk 1 buah, dan pipet 1 ml 6 buah. Metodologi penelitian ini adalah eksperimental Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) Faktorial dengan 9 perlakuan dan ulangan sebanyak 3 kali. Parameter yang diukur adalah motilitas, viabilitas dan abnormalitas dari spermatozoa pada straw kambing PE. Terdapat dua faktor yang digunakan dalam penelitian, faktor pertama adalah lama thawing (T) serta faktor kedua adalah lama post thawing (P). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh interaksi antara lama thawing dan lam post thawing terhadap motilitas, dan pengaruh lama thawing berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap parameter motilitas dan abnormalitas spermatozoa kambing PE dan lama post thawing hanya berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap motilitas spermatozoa kambing PE. Perlakuan terbaik yaitu pada thawing selama 30 detik dan post thawing 15 menit dengan hasil motilitas 58,30%, viabilitas 63,80%. Dan untuk abnormalitas hasil terbaik didapatkan pada perlakuan thawing 15 detik dan post thawing 15 menit yaitu sebesar 15,53%. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Research Title: “The Effect Duration of Thawing and Post Thawing with Warm Water (37oC ) on Motility, Viability and Abnormality Frozen Semen on Etawa Crossbreed Goat”. The research was conducted at Balai Inseminasi Buatan (BIB) Lembang, Bandung on 23 September until 5 October 2019. The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of thawing and post thawing duration using warm water (37oC ) for motility, viability, and abnormality of Etawa crossbreed goat spermatozoza. The materials was 0,25 cc semen of Etawa crossbreed goat (30 doses) obtained from Balai Inseminasi Buatan (BIB) Lembang, 50 ml Eosin, 4 liters of liquid nitrogen, Eosin B, 3% sodium citrade and 100 ml aquabidestillata and warm water 37oC, 3 liter container, one set of microscopes, stopwatch, cotton, thermometer, object glass 30 pieces, 30 pieces of cover glass, 1 pieces of erlenmeyer, 1 pieces of measurement, 1 pieces of stirrer, and 1 ml of pipette. The research was used completly randomized experimental design witch 9 treatments and 3 repetitions. The parameters were motility, viability, and abnormality of Etawa Crossbreed Goat spermatozoa. There were two factors was used in this research, the firt factor was thawing (T) and the second factor was post thawing (P). The results showed effect of interaction (P<0,05) between thawing and post thawing duration on motility and abnormality of Etawa Crossbreed Goat spermatozoa. But there were no effect between thawing duration and post thawing duration on viability Etawa Crossbreed Goat spermatozoa. The best treatment was thawing with 30 seconds and post thawing with 15 minutes, the results of motily was 58,30%, for viabilty was 63,8%. The conclusion was thawing with duration 30 seconds with post thawing 15 minutes provide optimal results for motility and viability. And for the abnormality, optimal results was provide with thawing 15 seconds and post thawing 15 minutes, the results was 15,53% |
