Indonesia) | Penelitian tentang pengaruh level penambahan pollard pada silase rumput gajah mini (pennisetum purpureum cv. mott) terhadap kadar bahan kering dan kadar bahan organik bertujuan untuk mengetahui level terbaik penambahan pollard dalam silase rumput gajah mini terhadap kadar bahan kering dan kadar bahan organik, dilaksanakan pada tanggal 27 Mei 2019 sampai 15 Juli 2019 di Experimental Farm dan Laboratorium Ilmu Nutrisi dan Makanan Ternak (INMT) Fakultas Peternakan Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Purwokerto. Materi yang digunakan adalah silase rumput gajah mini yang ditambah molases dan berbagai level pollard. Metode yang digunakan eksperimen dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) Perlakuan yang diterapkan dalam pembuatan silase adalah 5 level penambahan pollard yaitu 0%; 10%; 20% ; 30%; 40% dengan 4 kali ulangan Peubah yang diukur adalah kadar bahan organik (BK) dan kadar bahan organik (BO). Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis variansi dan dilanjutkan dengan uji orthogonal polynomial. Berdasarkan hasil analisi variansi, perlakuan berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,1) terhadap kadar BK dan BO. Semakin tinggi level penambahan pollard maka kadar BK dan BO silase rumput gajah mini semakin meningkat. Level optimal penambahan pollard terhadap BK dan BO terjadi pada perlakuan P4 sebanyak 40% pollard. |

Inggris) | Research about the effect of pollard addition levels on silage of dwarf napier grass (pennisetum purpureum cv. mott) to dry matter and organic matter to determine the best level of addition of pollard in silage of dwarf napier grass to dry matter and organic matter, carried out on May 27, 2019 to July 15, 2019 at the Experimental Farm and Laboratory of Nutrition and Animal Feed of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Jenderal Soedirman University, Purwokerto. The material used is dwarf napier grass silage added with molasses and various pollard levels. The method used was an experiment with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD). The treatments applied in making silage are 5 levels of pollard addition, namely 0%; 10%; 20%; 30%; 40% with 4 replications). The measured variables are the dry matter (DM) and the organic matter (OM). Data were analyzed using analysis of variance and continued with the polynomial orthogonal test. Based on the analysis of variance, the treatment had a very significant effect (P <0.1) on the levels of DM and OM. The higher the level of addition of pollard, the level of DM and OM silage of drwarf napier grass is increasing. The optimal level of pollard addition to DM and OM occurs in P4 treatment by 40% pollard. |
