| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Abstrak: Penelitian dilaksanakan untuk mengkaji potensi limbah ubi kayu empat varietas berbeda serta daya tampung terhadap ternak ruminansia kecil di wilayah Kecamatan Bruno Kabupaten Purworejo. Penelitian dilakukan secara eksperimental lapangan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan. Materi penelitian berupa tanaman ubi kayu umur panen varietas Lokal, Adira 1, Adira 4, dan Malang 4 yang ditanam di lahan pemerintah khusus tanaman pangan di Kecamatan Bruno Kabupaten Purworejo. Hasil penelitian pada bobot segar menunjukan bahwa perbedaan varietas berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap produksi segar limbah kulit ubi kayu dalam satuan meter persegi dengan rataan berturut turut pada varietas Lokal, Adira 1, Adira 4, dan Malang 4 adalah 583±20,724 gram/m2, 607,6±13,102 gram/m2, 618,296±22,718 gram/m2, dan 613,3±11,798 gram/m2. Uji lanjut beda nyata jujur (BNJ) menunjukan bahwa produksi kulit per meter persegi pada varietas Adira 4 dan Malang 4 lebih tinggi dibanding produksi segar limbah kulit ubi kayu varietas Lokal dan Adira 1. Hasil penelitian pada persentase kadar bahan kering (BK) limbah ubi kayu menunjukan bahwa perbedaan varietas berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap kadar bahan kering limbah kulit ubi kayu dengan rataan persentase kadar bahan kering pada varietas Lokal, Adira 1, Adira 4, dan Malang 4 berturut turut 32,32±1,52%, 28,46±2,26%, dan 27,52±1,16% dan 30,02±3,16%. Uji lanjut beda nyata jujur (BNJ) menunjukan bahwa persentase kadar bahan kering limbah kulit ubi kayu varietas Lokal dan Malang 4 lebih tinggi dibanding varietas Adira 1 dan Adira 4. Produksi segar dan persentase bahan kering tidak berpengaruh nyata pada daun dan batang muda. Perhitungan daya dukung limbah ubi kayu di wilayah Kecamatan Bruno menunjukkan bahwa Kecamatan Bruno mampu memenuhi kebutuhan pakan ternak ruminansia sejumlah 62% dari keseluruhan jumlah domba dan kambing yang ada. |

Inggris) | The aim of the research was to know potential of cassava byproduct based on 4 varieties and carrying capacity for small ruminants on feed in the district of Bruno, Purworejo Regency. Research conducted an field experiment using a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 5 replicates. The research material consisted of cassava in harvest age with Local varieties, Adira 1 varieties, Adira 4 varieties, and Malang 4 varieties where planting in gavornment land in particular food planting in the district of Bruno, Purworejo Regency. The results of the research on fresh weight showed that the difference in varieties significantly affected (P<0,05) on fresh peel byproduct production in square meters with the average successively on Local, Adira 1, Adira 4, and Malang 4 varieties were 583±20,724 gram/m2, 607,6±13,102 gram/m2, 618,296±22,718 gram/m2, and 613,3±11,798 gram/m2. Honestly Significant Difference (HSD) showed that the fresh production of cassava peel byproduct per square meter in Adira 4 and Malang 4 varieties was higher compared to fresh production of cassava peel byproduct of Local and Adira 1 varieties. Results research on the percentage of dry matter (DM) cassava byproduct showed that the difference in varieties significantly affected (P<0,05) on the level of dry matter cassava byproduct with average percentage of dry matter content in Local varieties, Adira 1, Adira 4, and Malang 4 were 32,32±1,52%, 28,46±2,26%, and 27,52±Z,16% and 30,02±3,16%, respectively. Honestly Significant Difference (HSD) showed that the percentage of dry matter content of cassava peel waste of Local and Malang 4 varieties was higher compared to fresh production of cassava peel waste of Adira 1 and Adira 4 varieties. Production of fresh weigt and percentation of dry matter are non significant on leaf and crown cassava byproduct. In calculated of carrying capacity cassava byproduct in the district of Bruno Purworejo Regency showed that Bruno District can completed 62% small ruminants on feed . |
